Dean Windass

With Dean Windass signing to play GAA this year, having never played the game before, is it:

1. A sign of the growing popularity of the sport in the UK, or
2. A sign of how poor the standard is that a 44 year old novice is being signed up?

Sure, it's bound to be just a joke for publicity - Wouldn't be getting too worried about it !
Nice bit of PR and well done to the club for coming up with it.

3. A bit of craic.

I can't imagine Hugh O'Neills will be building their team around him. Just a bit of PR and a bit of craic. I'm looking forward to seeing him in action, though I doubt he will play too many games. Lawrence's watch out on Sunday!
