British University Championship

With just one week before the division 1 championships in Birmingham I'm just wondering what the interest is like for this competition? Will many people make the journey to B'ham? With the best young talent on show it could be a great chance for clubs to spot players. 5 out of 6 teams have a realistic chance of winning this year, very competitive!

Just so I'm clear, is the "young talent" you refer to on the sideline or on the pitch? This could have a bearing on my interest level. Thanks.

John Moores University Liverpool Defeated Hope University Liverpool by 0-6 to 0-5 in a game moved from PNH to Hough End Manchester, most pitches waterlogged in Warwickshire.
Glasgow Ladies won the 3rd Division on Saturday defeating Birmingham University by a point in the final.

Next weekend should see mens division 3 take place - weather permitting

Congrats to Birmingham Uni for winning division 3 convincingly in the final. Delighted to see a team from the midlands win. Well done to all those involved, and all those who have been involved in the past few years, Joe Hopkins notably.

I think it is in Manchester. From what i heard University of Liverpool's talismatic captain Johnny Potter is a force to be reckoned with. Although their new manager Ciaran McCann has started to get the best out of his group of lads
