totally agree Ive been saying all year that this will cost us later on
hes also coming out off his line instead of staying between the posts
the Offally ball that was pulled on that just went wide at the post also had him beaten

If we get number I position and number 3 position sorted wel have number 27 in September
but not unless they fix those two positions so in my humble opinion I think either O Mahony or Curran for full back and we need a goalie

I see the problem this way its the fullback. Maher is not a fullback this came tolight against Cork a few years ago I just cant understand why OS is persisting with the situation hes very good out field when full it affects the other players round him inc Gleeson who is about the best we got at the moment there is talk about O Kelly its too late in the CH for that now OM and C appear to have fitness problems
The switch against Gal won us the game and I sort of expected that to happen against O it is a very difficult position and a lot of players wont play there good full back cover for the goalies job a lot easier

Goalie looks decent to me.That position certainly wont be the winning/losing of the All Ireland for ye.The positioning of O Mahony,Pauraic and Brendan Maher may do.Not sure about Bergin.Wasnt seen in league final v Kilkenny.Woodlock is a grafter.If ye had one other good midfielder id fancy ye to win the big one.

Yeah Gleeson turned his arse to Flynn's goal against Galway and the goal conceded on Saturday was very poor. Has anyone seen James Logue play recently? I know O'Shea tried him out in the Waterford Crystal earlier in the year but didn't seem to fancy him.

Is there anyone else apart from Gleeson, Egan and Logue. Cummins left a very high standard to meet as his legacy.

Might be a shot in the dark, but whatever happened to Gerry Kennedy, the guy who Babs played in 2007 when he dropped Brendan Cummins? I seem to recall he was fairly young at the time (he'd be in his late 20's now), and did well enough, considering. Is he still hurling?

I think he is still playing for Killenaule. The game has moved on an awful lot since then but yeah he no more than 30. Is any good up and coming goalkeepers?

We are probably stuck with Gleeson now unless Egan can dislodge him.
