Think we'll need to beat Laois and Westmeath and hope to nick a couple of points elsewhere. Big ask but we can stay up I think. Three promotions on the bounce is probably be asking too much. roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2511 - 01/02/2010 19:26:09 548616 Link 0 |
Will any of the Laois team be suspended after the brawl with Kildare? We're probably the favourites for the drop but then we were last year too. If we avoid relegation it would be a good achievement. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 01/02/2010 20:38:19 548730 Link 0 |
hopefully if we can beat laois, down and westmeath we might give ourselves a chance. it would be a huge achievement if we could stay up westernwarrior (Tipperary) - Posts: 44 - 01/02/2010 21:12:26 548802 Link 0 |
I'm confident that we can survive in division two.Tipp are playing good football under Evans and are progressing all the time. All they need now is our support. Nullisecundus (Tipperary) - Posts: 45 - 02/02/2010 11:11:44 549035 Link 0 |
I'm confident we'll stay up. We shouldnt fear anyone but at the same we cant go thinking we're superstars either! Progress is good and staying up is realistic. Fair play Evans and co. gaagaa69 (Tipperary) - Posts: 131 - 02/02/2010 16:09:08 549418 Link 0 |

well lads, many of ye planning on making the journey to portlaoise this saturday? laois have been playin badly these past two years and are severely under strength for this match, with suspensions, injuries, and all the portlaoise players all out. still both teams will want to make a mark on the first league game so could be a great game. im hoping for a laois win but expect a draw or a narrow defeat. A very bad first half killed us off but we did well to claw back & at least be level & in with a shout. If we get over the slow starts & hit the ground running I feel that we wont be beaten easy & only losing by 2 points but a tad worried as Laois were really under strenght. We had 3 good fella's missing too that would be normally scoring men. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1645 - 08/02/2010 18:44:55 555542 Link 0 |
Yeah they did the exact same against Limerick and Sligo in their championship defeats last year. They'd want to sort that out. They lost their first match last year in Division 3. Lets hope they can bounce back again this year but on the downside I think Kildare are up next. I'd imagine they'll be reeling after a trimming by Down yesterday.
