What is Aidan O Shea's best position?

He can be massively effective as a target man but he needs to lift his head more and develop his hands to release the ball quicker. A man of his size will always draw attention so releasing the ball to other players to exploit the space is what he needs to do more of. Too often he takes the ball into the tackle or when he does release it is too late. Donaghy does this very well. Also he is completely left footed and therefore easier to mark. His shooting in general is not county standard, even off his left. I think Aidan needs to realise that he is far from the finished article and knuckle down and work to improve in these areas. If he does, that is when his physical attributes will make him extremely hard to stop. The other option is mf which he is probably more naturally suited to. However he does not have the engine to play a full game at mf at the highest level. That again can be remedied with hard work on the training pitch. Aidan still has the potential to be a great but he is around along time now to be still talking about potential or figuring out his best position. There is still time if Aidan works hard to improve himself. Disappointed with the work rate of Barry Moran and in particular Aidan oh Shea. First gear all through the game.cant explain it,but in my opinion in his current form makes no contribution to club or county. while Aiden is a good footballer and might turn into a great player, he need a long break from the game,he hasnt played well for a few years now,overcarying the ball and then loosing it and failing to bringother players intothegame, ( lee Keegan goal in final the exception ) he needs along rest and then if he has the appitite hecanbecome a great player, same can be said of Higgins and Boyle, and maybe a few more, bring on the young lads for league , they are after winning u 21 final and then have some real competition for places next summer culmore (None) - Posts: 1398 - 24/10/2016 20:55:57 1928732 Link

for all the national media this fella gets, he is pretty poor. Does not show in the big games. and mayo supporters wont hold him accountable. thats the problem, culturally ye accept losing. 6000 people at a home coming for a losing team.
