Limerick intermediate camogie AI Final

(Oldest Posts First)

Very best of luck to Limerick in the intermediate AI Final today.
After losing last years final, fair play to them for getting back and hopefully going one better today.
this is a fine team with some v good players, Niamh Mulcahy in attack and Sarah Carey (Ciarans daughter) worth a mention.
Game on at 2pm so worth watching and hopefully seeing a Limerick team winning an AI.
Luimneach abu!

Best of luck to the entire squad and backroom team.
Limerick camogie is light years ahead of where it was a few short years ago.
Lets hope our captain walks the steps of the Hogan Stand at 3.15 today.

Minor technicality , yes Great win by Blackrock in 2010' however, they were a club team ,not a county team!
Congratulations to "Mna Luimni" and to Joe Quaid!

Didn't the camogie team win an intermediate All-Ireland in 2007? Was that not in Croke Park? The Ladies footballers, coached by Tommy Stack, won the junior all-Ireland in Croke Park in 2010. Dympna O'Brien, who came on as a sub today, was a central figure on that team. And don't forget, the men's footballers have won 2 national league titles in Croke Park in recent times.

Camogie team won junior title in the mid 90 s for sure in Croker. Eamon Creagan was manager.

Joe is a good man for a soundbite. Loss to Limerick hurling and I would like to see him involved in next years 21s if that possible.
