Division 1A seemed to start off roughly as expected. Good win for Bellaghy over Lavey. Banagher and possibly Dungiven look like they could struggle. Division 1B seemed to be where the drama was at the weekend. Big wins for Claudy over Kilrea and Steelstown over Glenullin. Limavady then pushed Greenlough close, leading by 9 points at a stage in the second half before losing out to an injury time penalty from Enda Lynn. Division 2 is a few games in. Slaughtmanus, Lissan and Magilligan have made good starts. Drum seem to have fallen back a bit and you would worry for Ardmore's future already. They will take big beatings this year. oakleaflad (Derry) - Posts: 41 - 10/04/2019 15:50:21 2178372 Link 0 |

Have to agree; there have been some great matches. Sleachtneil and Swatragh are arguably the best teams at the moment but Glen is out on a mission also. I hear Magherfelt (who are also doing well) have scrapped their negative brand of football and are going man on man, is this true? Ballinderry and Lavey are not doing as well as expected. League (D1) is done now till July and the cup competitions such as Sean Larkin are all starting soon; will be interesting how teams do without their county contingent.
