Leitrim v London

(Oldest Posts First)

A thread to log all things related to this game.Any word on the london panel? London will surely fancy their chances against fellow Div 4 team, playing at home, new stand, mulligan joining the panel etc.

After the hockying they got in carrick on shannon and against westmeath I wouldn't say london are too confident. Be interested in seeing if Mulligan is fit and still up for it. No reports here how he is moving.

The only Mulligan that will have a bearing on this game will be Emilyn. That being said, I would say this will be tight enough but I'd be tipping Leitrim to win it by 3 points.

London have a chance due to scoring forwards of Leitrim suffering injuries, any team would suffer losing Emlyn Mulligan.

There is no parking really as very difficult to do so on a big matchday. However if you get the Underground to South Ruislip (which is on the central line or red line) the ground is 10 min walk from there. Out of the station turn right, walk until you reach traffic lights, turn left at the lights and continue straight on and the ground will be on your left.

There is no parking at the ground. Only in estates nearby but the local council aren't mad about people parking on the surrounding estates. Best bet is to tube it to south ruislip and walk to the ground.

That was information for first game. Although a much smaller crowd expected there is little to no parking in locality

There was a field open beside the pitch that had parking for the leitrim game. £5 or £10 can't remember. Carlow were caught by us in the league and I'm fearing the worst as they've established themselves quite well since. They would have been promoted had they beat us so that will help rile them up if anything. It's gonna be an interesting one if London can play how they did against Leitrim without their mistakes and better shooting who knows. Carlow by 2

Good game on Sunday, but looking at a couple of your subs who came on near the end should they not have started ahead of a 36 year old who didn't do much. Glad they didn't but there was 1 lad who came on with about 5 mins left scored a point and looked a handful, would imagine bringing him on earlier might have won the game for London.

Think you're on about Moyles. He wasn't on the panel against leitrim so I'm guessing he was injured and just coming back. A couple of lads who did well against leitrim were on the bench there must have been a few injuries.
