Watched Blayney vs Clontibret yesterday. Blayney were impressive in comparison to some of their earlier performances and probably could have won the game at the end. If they play like that they should be too strong for Donaghmoyne.

It must be said it was a thoroughly disappointing campaign for Clontibret. They've struggled against every team they faced including Blayney and Donaghmoyne, the undisputed bottom two. They were relying heavily on a few lads yesterday with a lot of miles on the clock and had little options coming from the bench. Can only see Clontibret going one way from here and it ain't up.

Game of the weekend should be Magheracloone and Carrick today. Very tough one to call but Magheracloone can always dig out a championship win when they need it. Also, Carrick seem to be allergic to winning Championship games in the last few years so going for Magheracloone by the 3-4 points.

The aghabog aughnamullen stream is brutal lads, the 2 girls from corduff was a far more professional and clear job. Is it not a bit crazy that they weren't given the opportunity to stream the games considering they done such a good job in the league games

A wild decision by ref in rockcorry game to give a free in to rockcorry when it was a penalty all day long but dats wat it is best of luck to clones played well a good team a serious outfit

Good win for carrick today but made hard work of it at times and will need to improve to beat Scotstown. The o Hanlons will cause problems to most teams.

Down to the semi final stages now and a few unexpected teams there. Good to see the competition being completed so far and hopefully it gets fully completed.

Sad to see no spectators being allowed to watch. Was in attendance at the Armagh Hurling senior quarter final sunday between Keady and Middletown. Less than a half hour down the road and they are allowed 400 spectators. Was a great atmosphere and all due to a little bit of common sense. The stadium is plenty big, loads of room for distancing and alot o facilities are likewise here in Monaghan. Government are killing the GAA.

A lot of disappointed people after Monaghan GAA took charge of streaming the matches at the weekend. Showed their greed in these challenging times. Should of left it to the clubs to do it their own way which was working in previous weeks. €6 to watch a game and then miss half of it due to being sent the wrong link and of a poor quality.

Games being streamed again this weekend but an increase in the price, €8 for the individual game or €20 for a weekend pass. Hopefully it all goes smooth sailing and there are no hiccups, unlike last week!

Inniskeen have a huge chance tomorrow. Midfield is very strong and plenty of scores in the team with Donal Meegan in particular having a great year. Matthew McKenna playing very well at the back. It will be a great tussle with chris mcguinness if it lines up like that.
They need to keep 15 on the field however, not the easiest when you have a grandstanding ref on duty.

Expecting Scotstown and Ballybay to both win comfortably. I'd say Carrick will be beat as soon as they see the blue jersey, I hope I'm wrong on that one but I don't think they have the toughness to live with Scotstown, unless McGleenan has instilled some steel in them.
Iniskeen receiving a lot of hype after beating Clontibret (A game in which the referee had to be escorted off the field, that's all I'll say on that one!) and a Truagh team that was missing two or three key players, they're a good side but Ballybay look far too strong 1-15.
It would be great if one of Iniskeen or Carrick could break into the county final and assert themselves as one of the top teams. Both full of quality young players. Power shift moving towards South Monaghan in the next 6-7 years I'd imagine.

Picked the scotstown carrick game as the one to pay for. Turned out to be the wrong decision v one sided against outstanding second semi final by sounds of things. Should be a cracking final felt scotstown could have gone up another few gears today if they had needed to against average carrick side.
