I have watched many games in the ulster club over the years and have always wondered why Kieron mcgourty isnt in the football panel. In my opinion hes a class act. Is he just choosing hurling over football or has the manager just never selected him? think he played under pj o'hare but i could be wrong, antrim would have a lot more firepower and ball winning grit if he was in the panel.

Also think that anto healy should be in. I have only really seen st galls players so not sure about other lads who arent currently on the panel.

Looks a good panel. However I would include Anto Healy, he is quick and tenacious and gives you options. Ciaran McGourty has been Mr Consistency for St Galls last year and this year, being my man of the match in several games. He would be a great asset to Antrim but unfortunately has opted to play Hurling for the county. Which leads me to the key issue with the Antrim team and that is the forward line. We have limited options in this area and have tried converting midfielders and defenders into forwards with only limited success. This is were we need to find some new talent and put pressure on CJ and Cunningham.
Perhaps Pollock could come into the squad, as an outside bet I watched St Teresa's play last year and they had a very quick and talented player in the forward line, don't know his name but he did impress.

Donard Shannon should be given another shot at nets. Best keeper in the county IMO

What about A. Gallagher ? He covers some amount of grass chasing down the ball. Also I've retired McGreevy 5 years ago, but still I would have him as #1. It's still #13 through #15 combo that we struggle to get right.

Brian Neeson of St.Johns could possibly be another attacking option

I think PJ O'Connell would be a good addition to the football panel, unfortunatley the days of dual county players are all but finished!
