All the pundits are going for Donegal to shade it. Same reason determined to put one over monaghan. Not too bothered through we are used to being written off. Bring it on.These are the matches you relish.Been a great year for the county. Mood is good confidence is high in this team. There is no pressure. If Donegal do beat us then fair play because it will take a performance over 70 minutes we haven't seen in a few years from them to do it. There is massive pressure on Donegal to win because of the heights they reached in 2012 and the huge expectation amongst their supporters. We know we can rattle their cage in key areas of the field. Will be tighter than last years final but am still backing us to see this home by one or two points. Our players don't care about the reputations the opposition players have in the media never have and every single time we have met them over the years we have had the beating of them. That inner confidence and belief driven by a proud unbeaten home record will see us home.Hon the Farney !

Once again JMcG names a team that no one else in the wide world would have come up with.

If Donegal take to the field on Sunday with this team playing in these positions I will eat my trousers.

I think the time has come to stop naming teams in advance of games when they rarely line out as named either position or personnel wise.

All that is needed are the players names with their numbers so that they can be identified.

Has taken monaghan up 2 divisions won an ulster title also won an ulster club with loup in Derry. Narrowly missed out on an ulster title with fermanagh. County titles in. Derry,Tyrone,Cavan and an intermediate title in Monaghan. Malachy will manage Tyrone within the next 5 years.

The great undefeated record falls by the wayside Sunday. At long last a team beats Monaghan in Clones. Donegal by Seven points. Think we will see shades of V Tyrone in Ballybofey last year.

Could well start this team but with positional changes with the intention of keeping it a very low scoring first half Will be very interesting how THE DIVINE INSPIRATION sets about things.
This game should give the Monaghan management team plenty of chances to prove themselves. If the proper blanket system is deployed how will Monaghan go about dismantling it.
M hart and his team tried three times and failed with Tyrone scoring around 29 points in 3 games with no goal.
So I'm taking it to be defensive, with Monaghan unable to break down Donegal. and we can score enough on the break to win
For a team that were top dogs in Ireland two years ago I can't see how they could have lost their touch , I think a loy of people questioned Donegal after poor displays against Monaghan/Mayo in last years championship.
Fairly confident to see the two teams win Sunday with another big night in Donegal town

Also Gweedore with E/NMcGee /OMcNellis on the senior team and six from the club on the minor panel.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL CONNECTED WITH DONEGAL FOOTBALL ON SUNDAY.

Samonerrigal its people like you who make me dislike Donegal. I was in Croke park cheering ya on in 2012 and was delighted ya's lifted Sam. The problem is you are still living in 2012. If Monaghan win ON Sunday what excuse will ya come up with. Donegal was Jim's full time job for 2011 and 2012 is it a coincidence Donegal ave slid since his appointment at Celtic. Monaghan are battle hardened from their 3 games I dont think the same can be said about Donegal. Monaghan by 3 and hopefully if we win people will give Monaghan the respect they deserve. The bookmakers are the only people calling it straight and taken form into it.

Getting ready to leave London now and this is my last post to I get back again
I do hope everything works out for Donegal , last final at Clones I think , would be great to win it and also to win minor final. Really looking forward to Sunday and with such a strong team against us it will take a fair bit of winning Still think Donegal can do it. Good luck to both teams and both sets of supporters. Hopefully all the players on both sides stay injury free

It seems it is a 50/50% division of opinion on the game, everyone is not going for donegal, including people at home. I wouldnt give either team any advantage except that monaghan are in their back yard and they have an excellent record there. may the best team win.

Really hard game to call. Monaghan defending champions. Donegal looking to take back the title. Repeat of the division 2 final from earlier in the year. Tough game to put money on. Even with someone else's money you wouldn't know which way it will go!

It's going to be a great game of football really looking forward to it. Lets hope the referee keeps that yoke of a black card in the pocket.
