Peter Donnelly resignation

(Oldest Posts First)

What is going on with the Tyrone county board? First we have the moaning about how sponsors will not be happy about the senior squad boycott of rte then the way in which Mickey Harte was treated in signing his new contract and now Peter Donnelly completely undermined. Seems to me all this has started after the new chairperson came into her post!

Have to agree. What are the county board playing at!!!!!! Everyone can see what PD have done for Tyrone and for Cavan. This comes after the MH debacle. Leaves a sour taste but I hope they can work something out!!!!!!

Seems like he is gone this time according to the Gaelic life. The Tyrone chairperson doesn't seem to know her stuff.

This would be a big loss.

This will be a massive loss to the Tyrone team, he's more or less been there all along with the boys of 03 and is like a piece of the furniture, If Tyrone take a dump on their own doorstep for someone to take him to a different county will be their gain. I think a lot of Tyrone's recent success has come down to the physicality of this team and that is all down to this guy. Individual players have time and time again came out and praised him personally in interviews. Time Tyrone stop twiddling their thumbs and bend over backwards to keep Donnelly

I fully expect Donnelly to be with Tyrone next year. The last time he resigned he was advised to do so, so he could get what he wanted. Wouldnt be surprised if this is the same ploy

With Stevey on board does that pave the way out for Donnelly

Probaly to replace Devlin as a selector. Donnelly is a S/C coach.. Unless O Neill is qualified in that, he is hardly doing it.
