Very sad news about Conor Connelly. A fine player for our county. Puts everything in to perspective, everyone wondering about leagues and championship etc. Life can be very cruel. Condolences to his wife, children and all his family and friends. RIP

Condolences to all the Connelly family.
A warrior on the field and a gentleman off it nothing fazed him.

shocked to hear the news over the weekend, played a bit of ball with Conor back in the day, was the star player in my age bracket back then, think he played on the minor team that won Connacht in 92 despite being only 16. One of the toughest competitors you would ever come across but a sound man off the pitch, would bump into his very occasionally over the years and he would always have a bit of a chat with you. He was also an extremely talented rugby player.

RIP Conor. Fantastic player and a credit to your family. Volunteered a huge amount of your time and expertise to all the areas you came in contact with.
