Bloodyban, could you please refrain from calling them fellows "cottonwoolers"? You run the risk of generating another thread, all on to itself on the topic, that'll be
about a week long. Good job that common sense and practicality has prevailed (to date) and that club players (in both codes) aren't left asking themselves "well, how long actually is that piece
of string that the fixtures committee is holding?"

My brother, for example, and he hurls at senior level in the county, is off for 4-5 weeks traveling around Europe when this weekend's games are over. Switching and swopping fixtures would have made a right dog's dinner of his traveling plans (and the cost). I'm sure many other club players in Limk
have planned a bit of a summer outside of GAA as well.
