Fully agree, I would start Flynn - super player, confidence should be spot-on, player to loose out might be Niall Burke although he is also a match winner with long range points from the left-hand side or goals straight through the middle, Joseph Cooney is a certain starter - we are so fortunate right now with Flynn, Canning, two Cooneys, Mannion, Whelan, Niall, Monaghan, Shane Moloney, Padraig Breheny - if they hit top gear the pick of Ireland couldn't hold them - prediction they will deliver on Sunday

Seeing as we have played 3 games since we scored a goal and Jason played in all 3 I find it hard to understand this.Only one team has score goals against Waterford, Kilkenny.

sorry for going on about this ,but Jason is the man. Even more than Joe Canning. If you want goals- Jason Flynn will get them.

I too think Flynn would be a man to get goals, accept he has being nowhere near his best but against Tipp he got one ball in his hand and just went for it, was def fouled, could even have been a pen.

Either way, a great option to come on.

Whoever scores them doesn't matter but Galway will still need them I feel to get over the line.

2017 has been a great year for Galway hurling. Regardless of the result tomorrow. A National hurling league title, A Leinster title and an all Ireland hurling final appearance.

If we had lost yesterday it would have been a disaster of a year, make no mistake about it.

Some ppl are not happy unless they're miserable! Not saying Sammy is one of those! Liam is happy in Galway anyway!

Interesting stats

Galway played 5, won 5, scores for 2-138 against 6-80, margin 46 points
Scores from play 2-111 and frees/65s/sideline balls 0-27
Average from play (points only) was 22.2 points

Conceded 6-48 from open play (so conceded 1.2 goals and 9.6 points per game)

for 22.2 points from play : against 9.6 points from play - worthy All Ireland Champions

I'm totally delirious. But Sammy the Bull is right.-- the joy and happiness we're feeling (and I'm sure the players are feeling) depended on winning on Sunday. 29 years of pain have been erased. Woohoo!
