Replying To mick2007:  "Big crowd at the game yesterday and a credit to everyone that attended and bought tickets etc.. shows the power of the GAA in the hour of need.. while at the match yesterday it just reinforced the fact that football is really a distant 2nd when it comes to everyday life.. we should cherish every day.. the very best wishes to the Tate family And please good everything works out well..

on a side issue Can someone just clear up have we a sub goalkeeper on the panel??? Crazy crazy stuff Beggan playing yesterday.. it's sending out some message to other possible goalkeepers throughout the county"
Going to assume the sub keeper was Ryan mc nulty from magheracloone(Not a slight on the lad buts he s not the keeper or sub keeper for magheracloone) but did play in goals for the u 20s last year ,
Surely the sub keeper should be Conor forde now play ing regular football with emyvale

McCarthy seems to have had more good games for UCD than he has for Monaghan.

Good to see Christopher Mcguinness back..... being one of the "older heads", strange seeing blaney with only 1 rep on panel!

Apart from Stephen o hanlon and maybe another o hanlon from Carrick, I can't see anyone else in the county who should be on the panel that isn't on it. Fair play to banty for getting Chris mc guiness on board too. Good player who is county standard and for letting loose a few tested an failed lads

Few of the Magheracloone lads seem handy and worth a go but I understand they're having a long season so might not be up for it or want to commit. No David Garland either the year it seems

Wouldn't be Banty s greatest fan but decent panel that hard to argue with it.

That panel will change as the year goes on.............Them players have been putting in some effort this past few months as have the new management team in getting ready for the new season.

The Lack of new players been blooded over the last 2-3 seasons will hurt us this year with the retirements of thoses brilliant sevants we lost last month,so the NFL could be a tough one to stay in this season, but as long as there is new players given their chances then thats all we can ask for.

Clones May 10th 2020 is all that matters.
