You obviously must have got the slurry out and the milking done early yesterday in order to get to the match!!! With endless women chatting to ya, you must have been wearing the boot cut jeans, dock Martin shoes and the cheq shirt!!! mick2007 (Monaghan) - Posts: 279 - 27/07/2020 15:04:27 2285465 Link 0 |
What game were you at or which were you on about?

From looking at various games within the county, some games in particular seemed to have more than 200 spectators Inniskeen and Magheracloone being the one that really springs to mind. I even spotted neutrals at the game from a neighbouring club. Emyvale and Killanny the crowd seemed to gather in the stand which is idiotic to say the least. I don't think the issue is 200 spectators at games it's the fact people are still bunching together. People aren't social distancing at games and my opinion if certain individuals can't stay apart during a game then they should not be eligible for tickets involving their club. shaggylegend (Monaghan) - Posts: 1854 - 28/07/2020 08:49:16 2285517 Link 1 |
absolute joke .. no social distance at the game I was at, when I told a lad to keep his distance, he just laugh at me. I see Cross played blayney in underage match .. the carry on that's happening in pubs up there, this wasn't a smart move... patmouse (Monaghan) - Posts: 61 - 28/07/2020 09:38:25 2285520 Link 1 |
What were the underage players doing in the pub?

Seamus - pubs in the North haven't the same level of control as the South … hence the reason why cases are high there and I would be very concern with any Monaghan team playing teams from the North. the most important thing is keep the cases low so that the schools can open. Monaghan has a very high level of deaths due to the virus and we need to take example for other counties in the republic who haven't had cases for weeks. patmouse (Monaghan) - Posts: 61 - 30/07/2020 13:00:43 2285827 Link 0 |
One would have to imagine Ballybay and Carrick will win this week while the other 2 games will be a lot tighter will be interesting to see how latton fare against Scotstown at home GAA89 (Monaghan) - Posts: 4 - 30/07/2020 14:08:58 2285838 Link 0 |

not cruciate anyway i heard, but still a bad injury and will probably miss the rest of the season, and yes i just seen on lattons twitter that it is being streamed, most likely facebook. fair play to most clubs who seem to be making an effort to stream

The Latton v Scotstown game being streamed via Scotstown service at a cost of €5! They seem to be the only club charging for the streaming service while three high quality streams have been provided free of cost to viewers by Byrne Performance. Most recently Ballybay v Maraghcloone

Yeah the quality of Byrne Performance streaming has been great i think. Well done to them and the clubs who have organised this.

First half was very poor. Weather didn't help. When conditions improved in second half it was much better. Is there a gear below first? Because that's what Scotstown were in. Ballybay were comfortable v Magheracloone, only Tommy Freeman's last minute penalty took the bad look off the score for them. Inniskeen and Donaghmoyne attracted the largest crowned, which was ironic, because it was poison. Carrick looked good and could be the team to join the Big Three in semi finals. There's a mini group of Latton, Carrick and Truagh in group 2. Two of them are going to qualify for latter stages, one is going to be in relegation playoffs . A very underwhelming week. Fair play to whoever did the live stream from Carrick. It was the best so far. Magheracloone and Ballybay was very good too. Production values really improved on in one week.By week 5 we'll probably have half time analysts! FootblockREF (Monaghan) - Posts: 494 - 02/08/2020 20:38:31 2286158 Link 1 |
Castleblayney and Donaghmoyne look in a spot of bother at this early stage 222 (UK) - Posts: 535 - 03/08/2020 12:00:56 2286211 Link 0 |
Some dreadful refeering in the junior championship this weekend. Two yellow cards issued to same player and no red in drumhowan v scotstown game and wrong player red carded in Sean's oram game. Two novice refs with soccer back grounds throw in to championship game. Total disrespect for the junior championship against by the ccc. Would love to see them given a senior game and hear the backlash when they make a balls of it. latefortraining (Monaghan) - Posts: 58 - 03/08/2020 18:48:22 2286244 Link 0 |
