And the talk is now that no one will get in to the championship games! It's only where the county board can be bothered is where there'll be any real restrictions.

If we are looking at social distancing, the images going of Carrick Emmets and Donaghmoyne from Friday night are on not good. The images are available to see on Monaghan's twitter page. It not fair on volunteers to have to deal with groups of idiots both young and not so young showing complete disregard to what they are simply asked to do.
John Horan is looking to allow 500 people in to games, well if they cant handle 200 then its only a matter of time before the gates of GAA ground close again..

Its absolute madness that 500 people can circulate in a shopping centre under a roof, yet a max of 200 people are only permitted to attend a match out doors. why the players , officials and backroom teams are counted in the 200 baffles me.
and even worse if a father wan't to take his 5 year old kid, he or she is €10 also.

Most teams have a squad size of 35 let alone including managers, physios, doctors etc.

Or the GAA to grow a pair and ignore the guidelines and apply common sense.

and this is the selfish reason why the country will go into lockdown again .. their is people lives and jobs at stake, this virus is going out of control. their are clusters appearing from different clubs across the country, which is being passed on at work etc, the country on the blink of a great depression, we need to whole firm and follow the guidelines set out by the health experts not by keyboard warriors - if you have no rules and just common sense look at how America is doing.

If Latton are without Aaron Mulligan as the rumours suggest, I'd be putting my money on Castleblayney.

Some really enjoyable games streamed over the weekend and it's a credit to all Clubs who brought live gaa into homes around the county and beyond.. Brilliant game in scotstown last night truagh unlucky not to hold out for a memorable win, the red card was a big swing entering the final stages. Expect both teams to get to the knock out stages. Latton seemed to win easy, blayney facing in a relegation dog fight with the 3 stronger teams in the group up next.
Ballybay showed the usual failing to kill off teams when Finley went off in the first half they struggled big time, a draw probably a fair result. Inniskeen will he disappointed not to get a draw at home... next week fixtures will be key to see what sides are fighting relegation or pushing for the Mick Duffy cup.
