For cargin i thought the whole team played well with the goaly and corner forward laverty standing out slightly. for creggan there was not any stand outs but there free takers were accurate.

By all accounts Creggan1 didnt get started at all last night, but fair play to cargin on their win.

Watched the u21 final last weekend and to be honest it was a poor final. Cargin did look the better team throughout the match but in saying that i dont think creggan got started. It looks like cargin have a bright future and if they can sort out their discipline when it comes to big matches they will be a force to be reckoned with in years to come. Two teams for the future in cargin and ahoghill.

ahoghill are no team for the future they are an average team that just about stayed in div 1 then you have to realise that they fail to feild an u21 team every year and only feild a minor team because they tag onto portglenone for numbers

How can you possibly say ahoghill arent a side to be watched in the future. Look how young their team is compared to alot of teams. Bar cargin and st galls ahoghill have a good chance of beating anyone are are definitly the second best team in the south west. Cargin have the most promising future but ahoghill arent far behind them.

Reading all this rubbish about who gonna do what in the future ,you can have the best minor ,under 21 team in the country but there still not going to do anything in the future ,If you 've got a conveyor belt of teams from u10 to u21 then maybe you can begin to hope as you'll only get a few through every year and dont forget immigration is going to be a massive factor in the future as no jobs will play a big factor in every set up.St Johns have picked up 24 trophies ,leagues championships and tournaments this year ,they have played in every juvenile final at every level football hurling and camogie and won the majority and i have'nt seen to many posts on about that.Winning under age doesn't mean anything unless they progress to senior, apart from the fact they've been brought in a great and traditional way.

just stating some facts.

St Galls won five u21 championships in a row which you could say the same team won the all ireland last year so i would say that under age championships do count for something.

Cargin have won 3 outa five years so hopefully they will maybe get some senior championship success with this team in the future.
