Wexford playing awfully at the moment, 12-5 down. I think people were bigging them up too much on the basis of their games against a way off the pace Clare team (who were down men for a huge chunk of both matches) and a very poor Waterford team.

Referee correct to allow goal as he never caught it I would've thought.

Half time Limerick 3-15 Wexford 0-8. 2 Limerick goals just before half time have killed this match. I had said that Wexford had been awful. Scratch that. They've been abysmal. It's just been too easy for Limerick. I fear the Tipp-Dublin match might follow the same path.

Wexford look tired and very leggy. Too many hard, intense games in a short period have caught up with them. Limerick are that bit sharper and more focused without having to be brilliant.

When i called a Limerick win with a bit to spare,i didnt envisage a hammering like this.Although this wont undo Wexfords great year,a hiding like this may leave some mental scars for the future. No positives at all for Wexford ton take from this game.Beaten all ends up.

4 weeks in a row is one thing but lack of a tackle, no willingness to tackle, standing 10 yards off your man, terrible touch, dare I say it a lack of heart today. Not acceptable. Hard to take. Best of luck limerick.

I agree with Cue, I think Kk and Limerick will be a savage battle and Limerick just might shade it..

Congrats Limerick...a county I always shout for. It he must do it now in Croke Park. Hopefully the next game is tighter.

Thats it. You hit the nail on the head.

You will get this nonsense from commentators/pundits/fans etc "ah poor Wexford where exhausted after playing 4 games in 4 weeks", - I dont buy it.

It's an "easy way out" excuse when a team who has played an x amount of games in x amount of weeks get hammered.

Gas how last week the fact they played 2 games in 2 weeks (Including both Clare games toing to extra time) before they played Waterford, ended up being a blessing cause they had the "championship game time under their belt and where fit and there was no rustiness"

It's a cop out. Really is.

On the opposite side of the coin, If a team hasnt played in 3 weeks lke Limerick this afternoon and they go out and destroy someone, Its "Ah sure they where fresh" - Yet if they had have lost it'd be cause they hadnt played in a while and Wexford had games in succession.

Its all a sham.

Bottom line is, Limerick wanted it more, They out-fought and out-battled Wexford. They did the basics better and that's that.

Well done to Limerick, Hard luck on Wexford.

Regarding the Limerick be goal before half time, you can't hand pass a goal like in the 80s but you can palm it in if it's in the air. Rule 3.2 "A score may be made by striking the ball in flight with the hand(s)." So it was a legit goal. Rarely see it though.

Dont think so Poolsturgeon.Limericks non performance in Croke Park in last years semi final will make sure their feet stay grounded. Also the fact its Kilkenny will take away any notions of complacency(dont think there would be anyway).Limerick are going to perform in Croke Park this year. They are on a mission. This is going to be some semi final.

Fair play to Limerick, they won every battle 1 to 15 hands down and some more after that.

We never showed up today but even if we had I feel Limerick had an intensity today that would have beaten us. If they keep the hype down and heads focused then this limerick team will take beating. Best of luck to them, they are long overdue an all Ireland

Strange start to Tipp/Dublin game, and a change of jerseys wouldn't have gone astray either...
