Fancy a Limerick/Dublin double this weekend. I think Dublin at 11/4 is a great price..

blood and bandage I would also go with a Limerick and Dublin and agree that the latter are seriously overpriced, I would have them as favourites.

I'm going for a Tipp win..a big one. I don't think the Dubs are at the races this year at all.

Also Limerick to make a Munster double.

I'm going with my heart here - Wexford and Tipp to win (of course the latter doesnt matter to my heart, but ye know what I mean!)

I think Limerick and Tipp will both win and both reach the All Ireland Final , heard it here first , big battle on Sunday will be Conor McDonald against Richie McCarthy , I expect McCarthy to snuff out McDonalds threat

Limerick will pull through in the end maybe by 1 or 2....Tipp will win in a canter 8+ points

I believe limerick will win.

I also feel that Dublin have the men to keep Tipp principles under control. I feel Kelly will hold Callinan. I feel that Rush is a top 6 and that he will more than break even against Bonner. I also feel tha playing Keaney in Half forward line is vital as he is a ball winner and was wasted at 14 against kk.

I also feel that their midfield is stronger than tipps so for me it is a dublin Lk double and I will have a piece of the 11/4 at the bookies.

11/4 or better a limerick Dublin double. Has to be the bet of the week.

Limerick are warm favourites and now there is a rumour that McGrath could replace the injured Cahill. If that happens then I am sure Dublin should beat tipp. Has to be best bet of the hurling season so far for me

The odds are good alright for Dublin Region and Limerick double. Surprised the odds are not more even for both games. My call is that we'll see Cork v Tipperary and Kilkenny v Limerick in the semi-finals.

Tipp are favourites to advance, but hope the Dubs can bounce back after bad Leinster final. Lots of experts favouring Wexford in first game but think Limerick might prevail here.

Disillusioned fan, you'd want to have a chat with your bookie as I think he might be pulling a quick one on you. Dublin to beat Tipp on their own is 11/4, so a double with Limerick would be a lot bigger odds

Tks PJ Paddy Power in lk educated me this evening.

Dublin at 11/4 is madness. 3 deserving All stars in main positions, Keaney one of the best ball winners in the game and a reliable free taker. Also the kk game will have brought them on in my view

Anyone that thinks Dublin are going to win I think are just crazy!!!! They are just not up to it this year....Tipp are improving with every game...Dublin hardly went out to play bad in the leinster final but they did and was one of their worst performances in recent years, maybe they are lying low and in the long grass waiting to catch tipp, but I don't think so.

Tipp and Dublin game is too hard to call. Offaly wasn't a strong test for Tipp and Galway shut down with 20 mins left. Dublin just seem to be the team that one day are playing aweful but the next they play fantastic hurling, wouldn't surprise me if they put out such a performance tomorrow. Limerick and Wexford should be a great game but I think Limerick should edge it, if the game is close I'd say it could nearly be decided by the freetakers.

And on a another note Bring back the Quarter Finals to Croke Park, I know Semple is the Home of Hurling but Croke park has the best facilities, best for spectators. you have to move with the times

Don't totally agree. I think they should play them at other venues but as a standalone fixture.
If they want a double header at this stage then yes I agree Croke Park is the best spot in particular for the hurling which tends to get the bigger crowds for this stage.
I think there really is a physiological advantage though for the Munster teams playing in Thurles. Less so than Munster teams playing in Croker. Sounds strange probably or maybe it's just because I'm from Leinster anyway.

You will find out soon enough preddan :-)

I don't think Dublin were not interested in winning Leinster but it wasn't the cause of great heartbreak!

The Tipp versus Dublin game is impossible to call. Despite Tipp hammering Offaly I still have my doubts. I think I know where Dublin sit and I have said it before they are a good side but not a great side. They deserved to beat Wexford but I think if you put them back in the ring with Wexford again we might get on top of them with the bit of confidence we have gained recently. I cannot call this one. How about a draw after extra-time and another replay on the cards.

The only team that will beat Limerick today is Limerick I believe. They have been good in recent years and they are strong all over the field. Add in the fact they are a more experienced side I think it's difficult to go against them. However saying that they are a bit hit and miss and I'm not sure they have yet gained that confidence that they can go out and beat Wexford. Think their inability to win back to back Munsters is a step back for them and has heaped extra pressure on them to take the All-Ireland this year. Their supports are in a similar position as mentioned previously they are all full of confidence on their own site but they tell a different story on these pages. I think there are still some doubts their minds and that's the reason I believe we will hopefully give them a run for their money today and get them by 3 or 4 points.
Main thing is I hope we have another couple of great close games today. Isn't hurling the greatest game in the world!!

Nick their supporters are more diplomatic on other sites than on their own.

This supporter will pick up 180 if we win today. As for winning back to back Munsters we played Cork in Cork, conceded a goal to a player who took 8 steps, out played Cork for long periods and ran out of steam. We think we left Cork with our heads held high and we will improve more from that game than Cork. So your analysis being based on what u think we think is fatally flawed.

Here one thing u can analyse. Wxford have had a good year they are a coming team and that pleases all hurling ppl and while they may win today they have played no team that are anywhere near the standard of tipp or Cork. To win would require a step up and no one not even Dunne knows if wexford can step up

there should really be eight teams in the qtr finals like in 04,05,06,and 07 which were really great hurling occasions. One whole weekend devoted to these 2 sets of games would be just awesome like a hurling carnival up in the capital.
YOU looking forward to the Game today :-), I think Limerick might just shade it but wont be surprised if Wexford take the win either. Great to see ye back and in one or two years ye could be all Ireland champs :) best of luck.
