Waterford would have to be number 8 on that list Tiobaird. They have shown nothing so far to suggest they are above any of the others mentioned.

My own top 8 would be

1. Kilkenny
2. Limerick
3. Cork
4. Tipperary
5. Clare
6. Dublin
7. Wexford
8. Waterford.

I predict Limerick to beat Cork on Sunday by 2 points or so.

Is the Wexford v Clare match on the box Sat lads??

Personally i would not have Limerick in the top three.

I would have
1 Kilkenny
2 Cork
3 Clare
---------------------
4 Limerick
5 Tipperary
6 Dublin
7 Wexford
---------------------
8 Waterford

1-2 Ahead for me

4-7 Very little between the teams with Limerick marginally the strongest.

8 Waterford are down at the moment but would never rule them out.

Having Limerick 2nd and 3rd is off the mark for me, i hope ye are right but i think we have a lot to prove. Personally we are 2/3 players short of an AI for me. Those 3 are minors and i think ye will see an absolutely savage Limerick team over the next few years. Currently we are behind KK and Cork and for my money Clare are a very dangerous team.

This weekend will makes things a wee bit clearer.

What i will say is i think you could see a few different winners for the remainder of this decade. It is great how competitive it is.

All depends on what you're rating them on....as stupid as this sounds....if its current form, we can't be high up. But if its actual ability, we would be right up there. We have played two championship matches. Lost one and drawn one so far, I guess if we beat the all of a sudden highly ranked Wexford on Saturday then we will shoot up. This is all very fickle. If you had done the same ranking table at the end of the national league....you'd have Kilkenny, Tipperary, Clare and Cork. Now you've Limerick up there because they're in a Munster Final and you've completely ruled Waterford out. Little harsh.

When you say little to choose between several teams....I agree on any given day that's true. But a lot of the teams have done nothing and some have only played one game so we ill refrain from doing a ranking table just yet.

Ill base mine on form too but at the end of the championship when it really counts

Realistically Wexford are between 6-9 how is that high ?? It's probably the same as we were last year.

Limerick are defending Munster champions. They've done nothing to suggest they can't successfully defend it.

Waterford are very much in transition

Waterford are around the bottom with Offaly this year but still both can very easily get a win to turn their season.

Tipp beware!!!! I have this funny feeling before every Tipp game now were gonna lose!!!

Confidence at an all time low!!!

Realistically you're right Doyler, that's where I see Wexford anyway. But ill reserve all judgment on tables etc until the end.

Hoover on form Limerick have to be in top three as only kk Cork LK and Tipp have shown themselves to be above the rest and we are better than Tipp so that is at least 3 for me.

After that Id prob go with Dublin Clare Wexford. I expect Clare to beat Wexford and Waterford.

A lot of people being very generous to Wexford here but lets be honest until we beat somebody in the top 8 you cannot really put us in that bracket.

Offaly's championship could end the way it started. Wexford have taken Clare to extra-time twice. It's understandable some will have an expectation they might finally get the better of Clare.

Truly awful game of hurling. Wxford are totally dominating the Clare half forward line. Kelly at 11 is an experiment that no longer works.

For first goal chance Browne cleared the ball off the line twice the first attempt looked well behind the line and McDonnell was not in the square so potentially Wxford have had 2 goals disallowed. V Hard for them to take if they are beaten. Players deserve better from umpires.

As for Bugler ref was 5 yards away no complaints. Clare played on their own terms last year thanks to Davy tactics now when ppl counter act those tactics Clare players seem to lose their heads.

I cant believe what i am seeing..this so far is an injustice. If i was a wexford man id be seriously annoyed if lost. Refereeing and umpiring is shocking..

How's the game of hurling developing in Monaghan?

Wexford can't buy a free in this game. However, they've only themselves to blame for it going to extra time - so many poor wides, poor first touches and mistimed attempted catches. Not sure what was wrong with disallowed goal. Plus, Kelly taking nearly every puck out outside his small box - including lead up to second goal. That rule seems to have gone ot the window recently.

Agree with you hurlgaa but you have to acknoledge the phenomenal effort put in by Conlon.

The man has the heart of a lion. Also special mention for Dillon, Morey Colin Ryan and McGrath who put in huge effort when down to 13 men.

It is unfair though that wexford seem to have had 2 goals disallowed and that Browne and Clare effectively benefitted from being allowed to foul McGovern 4 or 5 times. Also Liam sheedy thinks duggan fouled for conlons goal. If i were from wexford I would be most upset allowing for the fact that Wexfords problems were self inflicted.
