1.Kilkenny 2.Limerick 3.Cork 4. Tipp 5.Wexford 6.Dublin 7. Waterford 8. Clare . All this could change after this weekend , but that's my top 8. ke40 (Kildare) - Posts: 209 - 11/07/2014 13:22:25 1617321 Link 0 |
Waterford would have to be number 8 on that list Tiobaird. They have shown nothing so far to suggest they are above any of the others mentioned. BigMack (Cork) - Posts: 182 - 11/07/2014 13:36:22 1617335 Link 0 |

Personally i would not have Limerick in the top three. Hoover78 (Limerick) - Posts: 865 - 11/07/2014 14:11:38 1617360 Link 0 |
All depends on what you're rating them on....as stupid as this sounds....if its current form, we can't be high up. But if its actual ability, we would be right up there. We have played two championship matches. Lost one and drawn one so far, I guess if we beat the all of a sudden highly ranked Wexford on Saturday then we will shoot up. This is all very fickle. If you had done the same ranking table at the end of the national league....you'd have Kilkenny, Tipperary, Clare and Cork. Now you've Limerick up there because they're in a Munster Final and you've completely ruled Waterford out. Little harsh. BannerBoy2013 (Clare) - Posts: 325 - 11/07/2014 14:47:26 1617371 Link 0 |
Realistically Wexford are between 6-9 how is that high ?? It's probably the same as we were last year. Doylerwex (Wexford) - Posts: 2707 - 11/07/2014 16:20:24 1617416 Link 0 |
Waterford are around the bottom with Offaly this year but still both can very easily get a win to turn their season. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 11/07/2014 17:08:12 1617441 Link 0 |
Realistically you're right Doyler, that's where I see Wexford anyway. But ill reserve all judgment on tables etc until the end. BannerBoy2013 (Clare) - Posts: 325 - 11/07/2014 17:24:01 1617448 Link 0 |
Hoover on form Limerick have to be in top three as only kk Cork LK and Tipp have shown themselves to be above the rest and we are better than Tipp so that is at least 3 for me. disillusiondfan (Limerick) - Posts: 4279 - 11/07/2014 18:00:08 1617471 Link 0 |
I'd still have Galway in the top 8 ;) keeper7 (Longford) - Posts: 4088 - 11/07/2014 18:18:41 1617479 Link 0 |
Had them in my top 5 or 6 keeper. Always comes down to which Galway turns up disillusiondfan (Limerick) - Posts: 4279 - 11/07/2014 18:22:06 1617483 Link 0 |
A lot of people being very generous to Wexford here but lets be honest until we beat somebody in the top 8 you cannot really put us in that bracket. Nick (Wexford) - Posts: 1100 - 12/07/2014 09:24:19 1617634 Link 0 |
Offaly's championship could end the way it started. Wexford have taken Clare to extra-time twice. It's understandable some will have an expectation they might finally get the better of Clare. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7876 - 12/07/2014 14:20:59 1617768 Link 0 |
another good tough game of hurling being tarnished by refeering crossfieldball (Galway) - Posts: 650 - 12/07/2014 17:39:57 1617810 Link 0 |
Truly awful game of hurling. Wxford are totally dominating the Clare half forward line. Kelly at 11 is an experiment that no longer works. disillusiondfan (Limerick) - Posts: 4279 - 12/07/2014 17:41:17 1617811 Link 0 |
I cant believe what i am seeing..this so far is an injustice. If i was a wexford man id be seriously annoyed if lost. Refereeing and umpiring is shocking.. hurlgaa (Limerick) - Posts: 136 - 12/07/2014 18:08:58 1617822 Link 0 |
Wexford v Clare. Absolute cracker of a game. I do feel sooty for Clare though. MuineachanAbu (Monaghan) - Posts: 640 - 12/07/2014 18:11:31 1617824 Link 0 |
How's the game of hurling developing in Monaghan? legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7876 - 12/07/2014 18:17:54 1617832 Link 0 |
Wexford can't buy a free in this game. However, they've only themselves to blame for it going to extra time - so many poor wides, poor first touches and mistimed attempted catches. Not sure what was wrong with disallowed goal. Plus, Kelly taking nearly every puck out outside his small box - including lead up to second goal. That rule seems to have gone ot the window recently. Agree with you hurlgaa but you have to acknoledge the phenomenal effort put in by Conlon. disillusiondfan (Limerick) - Posts: 4279 - 12/07/2014 18:38:27 1617845 Link 0 |
