Hurling in London

(Oldest Posts First)

I am looking for advise on finding a hurling club in London. I am currently living near Wandsworth but will soon be moving to Wimbledon or Clapham Junction area.

For hurling in or near West London Train in Acton in West London. Good transport links for Central and Piccadilly tube lines as well as National Rail services. 20/25 minute drive from Clapham area.

There are 2 clubs much closer to you than Murphys.
Fulham Irish and Sean Treacy's are both senior hurling clubs based in South West London. I think Fulham actually train in Wandsworth, and Treacy's are a bit further away from you, down in Mitcham.

Fulham are the club for you. They train in Wandsworth. Treacys are down in Mitcham, which is an awful trek from Wandsworth, as are Murphys who are an intermediate club.

I drive that route regularly and make it in 20/25mins. Father Murphy's are an option I'm not going to dismiss other clubs. Fulham and Tracey's are closer. Murphy's will have a great chance of winning an intermediate championship and should have won it last year. All the best where ever you decide to go!
