Yes Mitchells were heavily weakened during the Pennine League final, but no doubt so were Peters, thus as I said previously it will have no real reflection on the outcome. Given the weather of late and the impending wet conditions, the refereeing will play a very signifincant role on Sunday. It is a big pity that the hurling and football finals are on the same day. People working in the UK are not here, typically, for the good of their health thus some form of allowance for lads being dual players should be taken account of. Its not like there is a million lads over here and the teams are able to call on 30+ players for any match. Again it appears the heirarchy of the GAA are trying to make a point, that may only reduce the standard of football on show, thus biting themselves in the back!!!
