Omagh ST Endas in Ulster

(Oldest Posts First)

So can Omagh St Endas push on and compete in Ulster? They seem to have a great mix of youth and experience to move on! Having watched them play in 3 great championship battles now, i have witnessed an immense hunger and passion from this team! would be great to see a Tyrone team compete at this level again...

Wel two years ago Errigal got beat by Cross in the semi final after beating Ballinderry, and last year our CB gave Clonoe practically no chance against Ballinderry, although they gave them a fine game, before Ballinderry went on to win it.

They've got the worst possible draw for Ulster.

If Omagh are to beat the Kings of Ulster Cross assuming they win Armagh they are going to have to up their game but with having time to prepare they could give them a game. At long last the county champions from Tyrone will have some time to prepare for their Ulster Club game unlike previous champions Clonoe, Errigal, Dromore and Coalisland only had a week or 2 at most to prepare for the game. The Tyrone champions never get the time to prepare for Ulster club that's why they rarely go far in the Ulster series even tho they are good enough to push on.

Great to see a Tyrone club in the Ulster Final and hopefully they can go on to win it. This run should be a good testing ground for the Tyrone players in the team.

Fair play to Omagh on making the Ulster Club Final. It goes to show that Tyrone clubs can compete on the big stage and I think they will get over the line in the final. Any word on where the final will take place?

Great to have 2 Tyrone clubs involved in Ulster finals, hopefully in 2 weeks time there will be 2 Ulster titles sitting in the county.

I say this with greatest respect to Omagh and their achievements, I take nothing away from them - but it is no coincidence to see a Tyrone team do so well when they actually get a chance in Ulster, for too long the turn around has been 1/2 weeks. Omagh got 5 before Crossmaglen and they are performing brilliantly.
