Heard this morning Corduff got rid of management team from last year. Seems a strange move if true. I taught they punched well above there weight for the squad they have. Anyone else hear this.

Was due to the fact that the management team went for another job in which they where unsuccessful. I think the club/players did the right thing in this case in getting rid of them. What should they do accept being the management teams second choice. Heavily rumored that Mattie Mc Aleenan and Seamie Mullholland are taking over Carrickmacross Emmets. Seamie coached Castlerahan this year. Will be a massive loss to them if he does depart. Is there any more updates on who has taken over teams or departed? Couple of stories doin the rounds on that corduff thing. We may never know the whole storry. Any word who they got coming in. Meant to be hard enough handled over the years. Could be a good bet with right man in. Think McGleeman rumour is bullshit. No real chance of winning it. Hard to see Seamie leaving castlerahan too. He's well got there. They will push hard to keep him. Heard Keoghan linked with harps job. He left castlerahan after winning it this year.

Corduff have appointed Brendan McNally, Derry man who had successes with armagh clubs. He was also part of the Armagh back room team about 10 years ago. Cremartin, Drumhowan, Toome , Clones , Emyvale , Rockcorry still without managers for 2020 latefortraining (Monaghan) - Posts: 56 - 11/12/2019 11:32:05 2254271 Link 0 |
Keoghan was with Castlerahan the last 3 years winning the double in both 2018 and 2019 so is well got. He had Martin Corey as trainer in 2018 before going to the Cavan set up last year and then replaced him with Mulholland, Monaghan connection both years. I believe Mulholland is staying on again as trainer with them as they were keen to keep him.

Mattie Mc Aleenan, Seamie Mullholland have taken over Carrickmacross Emmet's. Gutted to loose him but the lure of his home club was too much. Excellent coach and will go very well in Carrickmacross I'm sure. Any word on Malachy O Rourke and who he is with? Frost (Cavan) - Posts: 53 - 02/01/2020 22:35:50 2257007 Link 0 |
