The one thing that will stand to Leitrim is they can give this one hell of a lash there is no qualifier or no club games to worry about. So give it a lash and you can put the feet up for a couple of months then. I'm going to unfortunately Say

Leitrim 0-08
Mayo 5-21"
Please my Roscommon friend learn how to spell and also learn grammar before you try to patronise people. That means to talk down to people by the way. Then scuttle off back to your own page. Good lad. Jog on.

Incredible all these Roscommon posters arriving on the scene. And ones that are mentioned just appear like magic. Strange that.

Best of luck to Leitrim at the weekend, be nice to see Mayo rattled. Sad to see Roscommon 'supporters' making a skit out of you, don't mind them

Could see Donal Wrynn picking up big Aidan for sure. We need a big man in there to contest the high ball etc.

So 9 defenders named in the starting 15, looks like hyland is looking for damage limitation. 3 of the starting 6 forwards are defenders I certainly have never seen Maguire, quinn or gilheaney play in any forward position for club or county seen them all play midfield for club before though.

Maybe terry has some positional changes in mind with rynn moving to full forward and flynn moving up aswell with Maguire and gilheaney moving in their places? Rynn probably our best bet to mark o'shea though with no mc tague there.

All in all though it's a very defensive looking team. Where is darragh rooney? Rooney, O'Rourke ,moran and mc tague will be sorely missed by us

If that mayo team that's named today starts, there could be hopes of a upset.
Perhaps mayo are resting player and experimenting for the all Ireland semi v Kerry.

From looking at the starting team I would assume the plan is for paddy Maguire and Shane Quinn to play as 2 sweepers with Jack Gilheaney an extra target for kick outs he will prob go to midfield and let Flynn play the running role up and down the field. Can see Leitrim being very defensive and without Ryan and Darragh Rooney they won't be kicking quick ball in. So it will be 13 behind the ball and try and run at mayo. Starting the half forward line the way they have will give them lads a license to run at the Mayo defence.

I'm going to change my prediction after seeing that Leitrim line up containing 9 defenders. Now I reckon Leitrim 0-8 Mayo 2-14.

Moran and O'Rourke are massive losses for Leitrim. Two of their better players

Very interesting interpretation of the team. If the plan is to soak up the mayo attack, win possession and run at them then there is definately some powerful players there to do that. Teams have overpowered us in the past with that game plan so it definately would be interesting to see leitrim try a game plan like that

Defensive setup is only hope in trying to deal with storm Aidan. It could work if Leitrim have the wind in first half.

Don't see anyone from Mayo talking about Kerry...it's Roscommon fans in here talking crap from what I can see.

It's all about restricting mayo as much as possible on the score board. The last few years against Roscommon Leitrim seemed to try and go toe to toe with them and the game was over after 15 mins. Wouldn't it be great to go in at half time tomorrow still in the game and something to fight for in the second half. Cavan did it today against Monaghan soaked up all the pressure for 50 mins and then took more risks. I'm not saying for one second that the gap between us and mayo is anywhere near as small as the gap between Cavan and Monaghan. But obviously the longer you can stay in the contest as a underdog the more belief you can get
