Aidan O Shea is saying it was a headbutt???
I'm laughing at half this hysteria to be honest.

Flynn should not have to deal with a camera stuck in his face, team captains are there to do interviews and the like, he was right to tell / gesture to them to get out of his space

Yeah I would have no issue with what Flynn done . RTE in the wrong there and Flynn entitled to do that.

Ah lad, not wanting a camera in his face after that game and result is understandable.

Am reading threads on here and some very funny ones this year. This one holding Paul Flynn accountable for waving a hand at a camera is up there as one of the great ones. GAA never ceases to amaze with what can get under the skin of a rational man. Only just finished watching the recording of the match and the incident in question is so small , the UUP couldn't even get upset about it.

Lol, I haven't agreed with everything you have said on here over the last 24 hrs but this is the truest and funniest take on any of the incidents I've read yet.

O'Shea pulling McMahon into him and then claiming a head butt. Not only that, declaring it to the media as well. And the Dubs are the bad boys?

Technically it is a headbutt.... but in fairness the camera doesn't lie.... he'll get off....
D. Conolly did throw a punch...... ' - get off

But Cooper's challenge - was disgraceful - could have broken a leg... yellow card, no more sanctions, but it deserved a red card..

Can't believe people on here criticising Paul Flynn for pushing a camera away, he was dead right, RTE don't have the right to invade players personal space after the game like that. There are agreed protocols for the Media to adhere to and they should try stick to it the odd time.

Paul Flynn a real class act on and off the field - people should do a bit of digging about just how much good work that lad does off the field before coming on and criticising players from the safety of an anonymous keyboard.

Some of the Dublin lads didn't cover themselves in glory yesterday but let's face it O Carroll didn't self inflict ten stitches on himself either so bit if balance wouldn't go amiss however trying to drag Paul Flynn into this is uncalled for and unfair to a lad who is a credit to the association - never ceases to amaze me some of the personalised attacks amateur players can endure on websites.

Forums can be great to discuss games etc but dragging players reps through the mud or questioning their character is wrong particularly when you know damn all about the players in question bar what you see in 70 mins of red hot battle - we have all done things that on reflection we wouldn't on the field of play so bear that in mind when going to town on AMATEUR players

Just watched the game again and Flynn wasn't anywhere the camera.

Why was this just made up.

Connolly wont get off but not sure the gaa will want to suspend anyone
else on video evidence.

It may be 8 a side if they did.

This is a ridiculous post.. If he doesn't want the camera coming up in his face after playing a game so full of emotion and pressure, he should not have to..

Just listening to OffThe Ball at the mo tie and they're making the same point. The Dubs were carrying on in a manner that's really out of character for them since Gavin took over.

I wasn't surprised at Mayo though!

Ah now Joxer I'd say ye don't even believe that post yerself. Mc Mahon is guilty of "moving his head in a forward motion until it tapped O"Shea on the chin area" or something close to that. Lol
Its certainly not a head butt as we understand it. O'Sheas head didn't snap back and he didn't seem at all hurt. There was plenty mischief being made in this game. Great craic now in fairness. Watching the squirming pundits and the lads on here debate these issues now.

Paul flynn is a great player if somebody put a camera in my face after a dissapointing result I would have driven them into the stand. Remember these guys are amateur sportsmen not professional give him a break

If I took anything from cameragate, it would be that it shows the player is keeping his mind on the job at hand. This game is not over so no hanging around for any niceities with the media. Get off the field and start preparing for Saturday. Nothing else should bother the players thoughts.

He gets away with everything. He bit Paul kerrigan in the back of his shoulder in 2010 and wasn't banned. Expect no different here.
