Good to see Fermanagh make a bit of a breakthrough this year and I hope they give Dublin a game of it on Sunday. jonno (Kildare) - Posts: 260 - 30/07/2015 13:59:34 1761218 Link 0 |
It's good that Fermanagh played in Croke Park during the league. I'm intrigued as to how they will setup. legendzxix (Kerry) - Posts: 7859 - 30/07/2015 14:11:04 1761232 Link 0 |
I hear you Clondalkin! Looking forward to pints for Donegal v Galway and a right oul session on Sunday with an oul sing song thrown in! AthCliath87 (Dublin) - Posts: 345 - 30/07/2015 14:26:34 1761243 Link 0 |
Clonadalkin you're never going to believe it but we're gonna beat the dubs! I'm looking forward to ROC and Quigley. If quigley plays to his potential it could be an interesting duel between the two. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 30/07/2015 14:36:12 1761248 Link 0 |
i'm looking forward to mccluskey giving connolly a talking to... not a sledging! NYCcavanman (USA) - Posts: 204 - 30/07/2015 14:51:09 1761260 Link 0 |
If The ROC plays at 20% Quigley won't get a kick. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 30/07/2015 14:52:35 1761264 Link 0 |
I honestly don't see why there is all the hype about ROC. Although usually when I say this about a player they make me eat my words so I guess i best keep quiet. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 30/07/2015 15:07:19 1761273 Link 0 |
Quigley was terrible last Saturday he doesn't look fit so don't see the big pitch in croke park suiting him... diceyreilly (Donegal) - Posts: 9 - 30/07/2015 15:10:16 1761275 Link 0 |
He's never fit. The way he plays he doesn't need to be a speed merchant running about the place. 2 games ago he hit 14 points, i think 6 were from play. On his day he is a very good footballer. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 30/07/2015 16:33:21 1761313 Link 0 |
You'll see Sunday trust me, only joking about the 20% by the way. Gotmilk tell me the last player to roast him ? He's marked them all big small fat skinny fast and slow and held his own against them all. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 30/07/2015 16:37:36 1761316 Link 0 |
GotMilk to be fair there's not loads of hype about him our forwards tend to get that but the man has won it all he is as honest as they come and still only 25 a beast of a man. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 30/07/2015 16:39:27 1761318 Link 0 |
Looking forward to it myself I must say. Tickets sorted and although I can't see it being a full house (maybe 65k) it should be good atmosphere. Hope the bloody weather doesn't put a dampner on things. SLLY (Dublin) - Posts: 463 - 30/07/2015 16:54:03 1761325 Link 0 |
Was Quigley not bragging about eating pizza at all hours of the morning before the westmeath game? Don't think he'll get a sniff against the dubs (excuse the pun) but they need him to wreck to have any chance. Brolly (Monaghan) - Posts: 4472 - 30/07/2015 17:00:12 1761328 Link 0 |
Big fan of ROC! Once Jim does not have him chasing full forwards out to midfield ha AthCliath87 (Dublin) - Posts: 345 - 30/07/2015 18:17:03 1761367 Link 0 |
quigley was double marked against westmeath and balls lumped in on top of him. this then worked to corrigans advantage. so it doesn't matter who 'wrecks' as long as someone does! quigley won't be double marked sunday so he may have a bit of joy. but for fermanagh to even come close, we need everyone to 'wreck' not just quigley. Raining goals into the Ernesiders onion bag more like it. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 30/07/2015 18:32:15 1761379 Link 0 |
he had the pizza before the laois game last year brolly. He ended up scoring 2-8 that day. Not a bad pre match meal if you are getting scores like that. gotmilk (Fermanagh) - Posts: 4971 - 30/07/2015 20:18:58 1761423 Link 0 |
