I'm going for Clare here, but this is so hard to call. If they dont then Davy could get a P45.

Just watched Carey's point again, sheer and utter class.

Ball into Limerick full forward line is aimless so far. Clare are way more efficient. Limerick are trying to force goal chances that don't exist. I'd say O'Donnell will add to his goal tally today.

Nothing going right for Clare so far, some poor touches and shots and a litte too much playing around with the ball.

Limerick should probably be further ahead then 2 points imo.

Ciarán Carey's nephew looks the business in the corner for Limerick!

I think Clare are doing well to be just a single point behind. With Limericks dominance they really should be 5/6 points in front.

A really scrappy affair for the last 10 mins or so.

Very poor fare. After this, I'll put a bet on Tipp tomorrow to win Munster. There's no All Ireland for either of these teams this year.

If Limerick are to challenge in the latter end of the summer Shane Dowling can't afford to be missing such easy frees as he does.

4 very simple frees missed so far.

Im a little disappointed in the standard so far.The striking and finishing is very poor.Donnellan deserved red for his part in that melee.Clare have it all to do with a man less now.

God awful stuff to watch. Amount of mistakes is unforgiveable.
Donnellan should expect a nice long holiday...

Lack of buildup? It's living up to the billing anyway!!!! Worst game of hurling I have seen for a long time. Davy mouthing away on the sideline - nothing new there! Seen better club matches in Wexford this weekend!

This is brutal hurling, very poor game, this short passing game is rubbish. The forwards on both teams are very isolated game seems compressed into the middle which is choking it. Hopefully both teams will wake up after HT and realise there is a game to be one. With Clare after losing a player it may open up.

Clare need Bugler,McGrath,Galvin and Podge back.4 All Stars from 2 years ago.The first 2 should be back the next day.If they can get all 4 back i still think their serious contenders.

Worst first half of Munster hurling I have ever seen. Both teams along way from looking like all Ireland champions. Thank god for Lynch and Shane o donnell so far both look good.

As bad a half of hurling as you'll see this year between league and championship.

Stupidity personified from Pat Donnelan and he has put his team, who aren't playing well anyways, under massive pressure in the second half.

Limerick should win from here if they can get their shooting up to par. Dowling needs to step up npw second half and follow the lead from young Cian Lynch, who has been the only bright spark in the first half.

theres less forwards in the opposition in half in this game than there was in breffni park
very poor match so far
the melee on half time might liven second half up a bit
both sides look afraid to go and play attacking hurling

This is more like in 2nd half - Clare are flying with a man down. Much better game now.
