It was 100% a draw,he just said it wasn't full strength and lenihan is moving well since he came in, only spoke for a minute.

What about Lenihan?

That he came in 2 weeks ago and is moving very well in training, came on for 20 minutes on Sunday and did well two. Let's face it, our starting ff line is 3 out of eamonn Wallace, bray, Newman and sor....after that there is a massive drop in quality too the next options so I welcome a form player being brought in too make make a late bolt

I know Bray has the experience but honestly think it's time for fresh legs instead. Would much rather see a young forward like lenihan given a chance against Wicklow and then have Bray come on for last 15mins..

Irish down under. Would agree with that, we really need more options up front , and this was proven in league.

Yes but was also proven that brayer is still our best inside forward, he's quickest out on front, almost always out in front too and hes still good for scores, actually he has looked shaerper in the league then at other similar stages over the past few years...he actually missed a lot in his early to mid twenties due too injury so maybe he's reaping the benefits of that now with an Indian Summer too his intercounty career, I don't care what age he is, if he's still quicker and cleverer then his marker it makes no odds and 90% of the time he still is

Southmeathgael. No one is saying otherwise but he misses his fair share too. What we need is more competition for places, cant be overly reliant on tormey and biggy.

Yep competition for places is crucial, it not only strengthens the squad but it also helps keep complacency down, nobody should be guaranteed a starting place if they're not pulling their weight. Have to say though I thought Bray was good so far this year and deserves his place in the starting line up provided he's fit and remains in good form of course.

Irish_downunder- Bray has been our best championship performer to date and you would leave him on sideline -good job you are not involved with the team. Southmeathgael I agree with you and he is still our best forward but sometimes I wonder what some of the posters are watching.

Not looking good for Kevin Reilly lads,he is struggling with that hip injury and is out of the Wicklow game for sure,BUT,you gotta question if he will be available at all this summer, and if he is,for how long.Big big blow as we need his leadership qualities.Newman and Menton defo out for the Wicklow game, and Gillespie is struggling too at the moment.Bad news for Meath as they need their leaders and physical players fit if we are to make any kind of impact..

Bray is by far our best ball winner in the forward line,no doubt that he will start..

+1 re. Bray. Hes a championship player and nearly always stands up.

Gillespie big loss. Wtf is going on with injuries. It was the same craic last year.

that looks about the best team available, Dalton and james mcentee will be a close call.
MOD always springs a surprise name from somewhere in the championship P Harnan in 13 and J Wallace in 14 (both who had little to no game time in the league) so who knows in 15... Lenihan might be the surprise name this year

McEntee I forgot about him, he may play Joey Wallace now but come the bigger teams (not going to jinx anything) he is just too small & light.

1. O'Rourke
2. McEntee
3. McGill
4. Dalton
5. D Tobin
6. Keoghan
7. Burke
8. Rooney
9. Flanagan
10. Reilly
11. Harnan
12. Tormey
13. E Wallace.
14. S Bray
15. S Tobin

I'd bring Sean Tobin out around the middle of the pitch and play a two man full forward line of Wallace and Bray
