Ya Biggy is a top top player, but needs to do it when the going gets tough. You usually know what type of game he will have after about 10mins..

Southmeathgael.

Any idea of the score and players who played?

Also as it stands, k Reilly, Gillespie, Newman and SOR are the only confirmed unavailable for next Sunday. Everybody else ok. Gillespie and Newman are precautionary, SOR recovering from op and Reilly....well God only knows what's wrong with him anymore

The tone of your comment about Kevin Reilly is most unfortunate - take a read of the interview that Mick O'Dowd has given to the Meath Chronicle - Fergal Lynch has tweeted the link. It is an excellent description of what a dedicated player will put the body through in an effort to represent his club and his county and his country with pride. Silly and uneducated comments are not appreciated on this forum.

Kevin Reilly is a great player with a great attitude, but,he has had some awful tough to shake off injuries.Has had a back injury for a long time and now his hip.Very tough on him,and his dedicating may come back to haunt him in later life..

Gillespie is not precautionary as stated above he had a small op on his knee,I wish lads would only comment on facts not stuff they hear on the grape vine

If we are to do anything this year,we badly need him.Especially with the Reilly situation..

You mis interpreted what I meant regards Kevin Reilly, I meant he has had that many different injuries that God only knows which one is acting up. You should have asked what I meant rather then assuming I was questioning his dedication..I'm a big fan of Reilly and he's badly needed

According to Martin McHugh,Laois are the team with the best footballers in Leinster outside of Dublin.. Based on what one wonders?

Martin McHugh has a big chip on his shoulder when it comes to meath, wasn't too long ago he was saying all the meath players were gone soft

Martin McHugh is an awful pundit.

But our record against Laois is awful and Laois are the last Leinster team to be competitive against Dublin.

Stop bigging our unproven team up so much lads.

How can anyone say that Laois have the second best footballers in Leinster at this point??

Nobody's bigging up our team...it's more stating how McHugh is factually incorrect, laois havnt got too a Leinster semi final, yes Leinster semi final, in 5 years and we have been in 4 of the last 5 winning one. It's a ridiculous assessment of the Leinster championship by a man that clearly hasn't been following much of it. Yea they put it up too Dublin last year and ended up losing by 11, does that qualify them as 2nd best in Leinster? If so then yes...our province is in big trouble
