Dunshaughlin v Blackhall Gaels. This will be interesting Dunshaughlin picked up a few injuries v Simonstown but Blackhall have a few all year. On paper its Dunshaughlins to lose but Blackhall have one eye on relegation or maybe 2. Still Dunshaughlin should have enough in the tank to sneak a win.
Na Fianna v Simonstown. Winner takes all a draw will see both tru but one into pre lim. There will be no deals done Na Fianna should be good enough to get the win.
Gaeil Colmcille v Walterstown. Cant see anything other than an average Kells side winning They are getting the most out of themselves and can make an impression on an average Senior Club Championship

Sunday 23 August

SFC
Moynalvey v Rathkenny. Rathkenny getting ready for a big relegation battle and nothing like an even SFC game to get them going. Moynalvey can preform on their day and they should be able to get over line here
Summerhill v St. Peters Dunboyne. Dunboyne are tru Summerhill like the wounded animal needs to be watched the last time they had there backs to the wall they won the Keegan cup.Still i think Dunboyne will want to set a big marker and knock them out.
Wolfe v Tones v D/Bellewstown. Tones need to win Duleek suprised everyone including themselves last time out. No suprises here Tones to win
St. Patricks v D/Ashbourne. Don/Ash to condemn Pats to relegation pile
Ballinlough v Seneschalstown. This will be interesting Seneschalstown have slowely got there year going and should get the better of a battling Ballinlough
Skryne v O'Mahonys. OMahonys need to win so I expect they will

Dunshaughlin -vs- Blackhall Gaels: Dunshaughlin will go into this as favourites and will be praying for a Na Fianna win to see them through. Blackhall have nothing to play for as they'll hardly be dragged into a relegation dogfight seeing as Kells should do them a favour. It's a local derby though so anything could happen. Blackhall would love to stop their neighbours from progressing but that may be beyond them - DUNSHAUGHLIN
Na Fianna -vs- Simonstown Gaels: Tie of the round for me. Plenty at stake here for the Navan side, they'll want to avoid potentially being knocked out twice in two years by the south Meath club. Simonstown may be coming good at the right time and may just nick this but it really could go either way - SIMONSTOWN GAELS
Gaeil Colmcille -vs- Walterstown: Bit of a mis-match here if Kells keep their form up. The Blacks are favourites for the drop and it has been coming these last few years. They've lost a few players from recent years most notably Tom Walsh and that hasn't helped their cause. Really just a warm up for the quarter finals for Kells and they should win well - GAEIL COLMCILLE
Moynalvey -vs- Rathkenny: Moynalvey have a real chance of making the quarter-final should the 'Hill lose to Dunboyne. Not sure what way they are with players but if they have the Harnan's and Mark O'Sullivan fit they should make it past the Raths who have a relegation playoff to look forward to - RATHKENNY
Summerhill v St. Peter's Dunboyne: Another tough one to call. Dunboyne are the only club guaranteed knock-out football and if they take their foot off the gas Summerhill will punish them. Donal Lenehan is in fine form at the moment and may be rested. The 'Hill blew their chance against Duleek to more or less book a quarter-final place and by Sunday evening they'll be checking out if other results went their way - ST. PETER'S DUNBOYNE
Wolfe Tones -vs- Duleek/Bellewstown: Difficult to call. Duleek's lazarus style antics against Summerhill caused a shock and even though a win may not put them in contention, they'll still cause the Tones problems. The Tones did well to put a stubborn Rathkenny side to bed last time out may just scrape victory here - WOLFE TONES
St. Patrick's v Donaghmore/Ashbourne: Same old story for the Pat's, they've been there for years but they still struggle to make an impact come the business end with just 2 QF appearances in 8 years. This years they were unlucky to be drawn in such a tough group but they're staring at a relegation playoff if they don't get a win here. Don/Ash seem to be getting into their stride now and may be the new outright favourites for glory along with Dunboyne - DONAGHMORE/ASHBOURNE
Ballinlough v Seneschalstown - Ballinlough have given a good account of themselves this year regardless of whether or not they win on Sunday. Unless Skryne shock O'Mahonys though it looks as if their efforts will be in vain. Seneschalstown seem to be safe but they can't count their chickens just yet and will put up a fight but the 'Lough's defensive strategy should hold strong onve more - BALLINLOUGH
Skryne v Navan O'Mahonys: NOM will be disappointed with their campaign so far but a win here will put them right back in the favourites hotseat. Ruairi O'Coileain is a big miss for them for the summer. I presume Skryne will still be missing Rooney so the champions should get back on track - NAVAN O'MAHONYS

Good win for Na Fianna last night to send them through.I also think Daniel Queeney should be given a chance with the county.

I am not sure if you were at the match Ziggy but their best player was their full forward and has been most of the year. They were very lucky to win as Simonstown on play were at least 6 points the better team missing a couple of gilt edge goals along with a missed penalty with 15min to. The winning score was taken 4 minutes into extra time which seemed unduly long.

Heard that they have been moved forward to two weeks time (but needs checking)and two of quarter finals are Tones v Kells and Hill v NOM. One other is a payoff between 3 teams winner of which plays Dunboyne, not sure who plays Don/Ash must be Na Fianna

Dunshauglin to beat skryne and then just fall short against Dunboyne.
Don Ash will easily dispose of Na Fianna
Summerhill and O Mahoneys hard to call but go for Hill to shade it
Kells with their sharp slick football to account for a stale Tones.

Kells are serious contenders but Don Ash to win it out
