predictions for keegan cup : ashbourne vs na fianna: na fianna to shock ashbourne i think na fianna are under estimated every year and are where they are for a reason i think ashbourne are going out thinking they will beat na fianna. however i am not writing of either team in this one. summerhill vs navan : navan always strugle against summerhill and all though i think this summerhill team isnt what it once was but they have young lad willing to put in a shift and will be to much for a very strong navan side. wolfe tones vs kells the kells side to win well. dunboyne vs sench/dunshaulin dunboyne to beat dunboyne and reach the semi final. i think the winner of na fianna ashbourne will win keegan so im predicting a na fianna / ashbourne vs summerhill

Good to see your following the keegan closely micko81 but what about skryne???did they not do enough this year to even get a mention.just to let you know scenchelstown didn't cut the cheese this year, but you probably knew that.

Dunshaughlin v Skryne Close call neither will have a say in the Final destination of the Keegan Cup but Dunshauglin have come from the pack before to nearly win it. I think they will stay in the race for another game

Na Fianna v Donaghmore. One of the top ties both have designs both are outside the tradional powers. Ash to repeat there Semi in 2014

Wolfe Tones v Gaeil Colmcille. Another interesting tie local derby Tones experince v Kells surprise packets. Kells might continue to shock

Summerhill v OMahonys. God arent they all super games Best wine till last 2 years ago Summerhill snuck it in Trim. Navan be warned and with the game on their back door they will feel happier than if it Trim. Lot of Navan lads away all summer so it will depend on how they have returned. I think OMahonys might do it.

Relegation
Rathkenny v Pats ....Pats on the slip and could edge closer to Intermediate here

Fair play Na Fianna,, an Rathkenny not too many would have put them 2 results together,, some great games today,, I feel more teams are in the hunt for outright honours this year than in a long time

Impressive win for NOM,they may just win the title twice in a row.

Good to see Gillespie back on the field..

Couldn't help but notice how shook Conor Gillespie is, struggling to run which is sad to see...let's hope he makes a full recovery! NOM did what they had to do and with forwards like Bray and Gillespie on song, they'll be tough to stop! Na Fianna seem to be their biggest treats after yesterday's fine display! Kells were blessed today but to be fair never gave in and capitalised on Wolfe Tones profligacy.

Good calls by me Kells, Navan and Dunshaughlin but Donaghmore let me and probably everyone else down. This week is a hard one, Dunshaughlin on a roll, Dunboyne losing to Summerhill was a bad result and a hit to their momentum , Summerhill were average and OMahonys blew them away. Dunno who will win this one Dunboyne have been the form team but whoever gets on a run now will do well. I Think Dunshaughlin might nick it

Meathmaster- was at most of senior matches myself. Bray is still the best forward in the county, however it was some of the defenders for NOM who impressed me most. The hill did not turn up with their county defenders poor. McDonagh for Na Finna put in a very good performance and he is always consistent- Their wing back played also well along with other players The tones missed a few good chances but fair play to Kells as the stuck at it to the end which paid off. Most of the county players gave poor displays.

Down to the last 4 now. Dunboyne were good last night without being really impressive. But it was a tight game between 2 decent sides. Can Dunboyne trouble NOM? I'm not so sure.

I think Na Fianna have the best chance of beating NOM

Worrying thing is nom are so dominant yet in Leinster any county champions could beat them, if they win it this year or whoever else wins it, lets hope its not another embarrassing exit.

Na Fianna might not get the chance to trouble NOM, haven't Kells beaten Na Fianna twice already this year? Kells are on a serious run and may well be the ones to front up to O Mahonys in the end.

How the hell do you make out NOM are dominant, yes they are one of the stronger teams but no way Dominant, they are far to hot and cold. the lough beat them this year. its a insult to some other good footballers in the county that Kevin Reilly is still one of the main players on the meath team...he cant kevin get the full back spot for NOM. Best thing he can do is stop playing the bit of football with meath when it suits him or when he knows he is not going to get a run around.
