Group A seems very tight! Who'd you reckon will go through? Dunboyne are nailed on by now! Moynalvey are doing great considering they're missing the O'Sullivans, and summerhill and Wolfe tones have been slightly disappointing!

Superb win for Moynalvey indeed missing the two O Sullivans. These boys miss a lot of football, have they bad injuries? Two very talented men. Are D/B really as bad as that scoreline suggests? Summerhill back in contention and a huge point for St.Pats in their bid to stay up

Geraghty did a very good job with a poor bunch last year imo,but it looks like they are playing to their level now..

Cillian O'Sullivan has been out for nearly 2 years at this stage.

Rathkenny & Walterstown in real relegation risk again. Think Seneschalstown have enough to beat these two in playoffs

Gillespie is out long term. Didn't seem to affect The Hill too bad v Tones though. The 2 Byrnes had things under control in the middle of the field throughout

I think they can. I just think that they may have made too many changes to team/personnel in the past two games and maybe that is due to injury. There are a coupe of teams who have improved considerable from last year Moynavely/Kells being two, followed by Blackhall Gaels. Quite a few players from senior teams who appear better than what is on the county panel but then again they are playing senior football!.

Gillespie did his cartilage, not a big problem...he'll be touch and go for Wicklow but be back for the next day.

Meathmaster -would that not be serious enough injury?. He has been very unlucky with injury and I hope and wish that he has a speedy recovery as both club and county need him

not a big problem as such.He has missed a lot of training and football. You wonder if he will be conditioned enough for the champ.

From what I heard (reliable source) it's not as bad as first feared...originally they feared cruciate again! Fingers crossed we'll see him back sooner rather than later, extremely important for us for experience as well as the obvious things!

Just wondering what are peoples thoughts on Wolfe Tones. Suffered 2 losses on the bounce and by my calculations will more than likely need results to go in their favour to qualify for the qf's. A fall from grace and their Juniors not performing too well either. Is there a lack of players coming through or is there something deeper there. Been hearing from some sources that the club in general is in dire straits. Only a very small amount of teams at their recent golf classic and a lot of members pulling support form the club.

Yes I was thinking the same shivermetimber. Summerhill were far from full strength but dealt with the Tones handy enough and talking to Hill people prior to the game they weren't confident of getting a result due to not playing well of late, Gillespie missing etc etc Its do or die now for the Tones v Rathkenny, another loss and its a relegation battle potentially. The Junior set up is not good either, A's are struggling badly and the D's recently gave a walkover as only 13 turned up for their last championship game?? Rumours are rife players want rid of Gordon Ward but isn't that par for the course when things aren't going well?? Perhaps the players need to have a good look at themselves first. after all the management team only bring say 10% to the whole set up, the players need to give 110% to make it work regardless of who the team manager is. Anyway the club as a whole is at a low ebb I believe so perhaps its running deeper than the players, time will tell, a shame though but the fairy-tale has to end some time I guess
