Intermediate League Final

(Oldest Posts First)

I see that the final between saint joes and cucullians is down for this saturday after been called off at the weekend.... .Any predictions? Both teams will surely be going out to win the game and get senior football in 2013

Yeah and the county board was a bit slow to inform people the match was off. I heard a few of the joes players turned up in Greenford to find no match to be played. Who makes these calls to call a game off? could people not be given more notice.

I think the game was called off about 2 hours before it was meant to start, some cuchulainns players would already have been en route as they would of been travelling from south london. I didnt realise it had rained that much, supposedly its fixed for this saturday same venue and time. Will be a very close game, hard to predict games this time of the year.

I had the bag on my back and my mouth full of Greggs on route when the tx went out, I think football at this time of the year is a gamble.

Good luck to both teams the ref and who ever decides to brave this dirty weather.

There is no fear of the Joe's lads they only had to roll out of bed and crawl to the pitch.

The south London boys were lucky the tx went out when it did.

well done to Cu's at the weekend, quite a year they have had, will get a chance to test themselves against the big boys next year. Will be the early favourites to take the Intermediate championship next year.

the joes must be very disappointed? they could finish with noting to show for there efforts this year. Will they even have the heart for a promotion play off v tara? Good luck to them I think they deserve something, I hope micky, mark and the lads get a chance to play in Div 1 next year

Delighted for CuChullains and the good people involved with that club. They have had a great 80th year and the hard work behind the scenes is paying off. I believe they have bagged three cups this year and with a bit of luck, would have being competing for a British championship this weekend.

They will be a welcome force to senior league football next year and they deserve it. Keep up the good work!
