Rip off Monaghan

(Oldest Posts First)

Am completely dismayed by the price into County finals in Monaghan. 13 euro in for stand alone fixture today with 3 euro for a programme. No regard for the ordinary people.
Reality check is needed for next year and up to the clubs to raise the issue eat county board meetings.

I thought it was ok. Sure you'd pay that to the cinema. But depends on your own financial situation. If you are paying for a clatter of children plus deisel/sweets/programme it would add up.

That price in cheap, Its €15 into the Co Final here in Donegal and programs are the same price at €3

Well it was 15 into clones for the senior final but at least you got two games of football. With the standard of football today in Clontibret the Cinema would have been a better choice.

Bit harsh Shaggy, I thought McManus's 2 points were worth the price in alone.

Apologies Shaggy, I did not notice any mention of that in your original message...

The prices into the Ulster club games are cheaper than the county finals. Just sums up the county board to me.

Yes I have to agree with Shaggylegend. The game in Clontibret was very poor. Neither team will break any records.

Just wondering folks. By the looks of things you were at the match on Sunday and paid in the €13 fee (which is by the way €15 in most other counties for finals). Seems like you had no problem paying the entrance fee to the match (and so did over 2,500 others) and i didn't find any protests outside the grounds to suggest it was too dear?!! Check you prices for Ulster championship matches. I think your getting it wrong with the pricing a wee bit. Covered seating is €20-€25 Terrace (Standing) is €15
