Doon with a big win over Na Piarsaigh at the weekend in the County Final. Champions 3 of the last 4 years.

I forgot that was on. Surprised it was a big win. I didn't think there would be more than a few points in it either way. What was the score?

Big win as in satisfying and underdogs i'm sure, not a big win on the scoreline. A good team display from doon and thoroughly deserving of the win. Doon never really looked in doubt of losing this game once they got into the speed of it. Doon 18 NaP 14

I see where Old Christians/Claughaun won the Minor A hurling championship. They seemed to be joined for U16 and U21 also. Is there not a case for both clubs to join fully and strive to be a strong senior hurling and football club for the South East side of the city. At the moment both clubs seem to be going nowhere at adult level

Agree with you record. Claughan very lucky to stay up intermediate this year. Have been following this minor team all year some fine hurlers from both clubs on the team. Really think they should join up and have a real crack at making it up senior.
