Kildare v. Offaly

(Oldest Posts First)

This could be bad. Our last 3 performances have been dreadful, and in different ways too.

Is there some reason all the sash lads have been dropped?

Much better! Our defence is still terrifyingly porous but great to see some spirit, unity and intent to attack.

In so sense was it the perfect performance but at least tonight we showed some spirit and passion that we haven't showed in the last few games. The blanket defence is not the Kildare way and lets we won't see it again. Now we can give it a real shot in the next qualifier game where we have nothing to lose.

One of the decent teams in the qualifiers will cut through that defence easily.Midfield and up front working well though.

How will the Mayo game go on Saturday night? Tough trip.

Thelongridge: I think we are in for a very tough one.I hope not but as I have said, the defence is poor. No point in saying otherwise.Moolick a good presence in the middle . Mayo are a beaten docket in All Ireland terms, but are a level or two higher.
