Realdub, he bounced the ball twice in succession without taking a solo. That's fouling the ball. westkerry (Kerry) - Posts: 1250 - 15/08/2015 19:20:15 1770744 Link 0 |
westkerry, he didn't bounce the ball twice, took a lot of little steps but I repeat, he did not bounce the ball twice! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8812 - 15/08/2015 19:50:28 1770752 Link 0 |
Realdub, I apologise I was wrong about that. westkerry (Kerry) - Posts: 1250 - 15/08/2015 20:03:11 1770758 Link 0 |
No need westkerry, he did a double bounce V Mayo in the league, just hope he gets away with it Sunday week :D realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8812 - 15/08/2015 20:05:46 1770761 Link 0 |
Sorry, Sunday two weeks, whoops :D realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8812 - 15/08/2015 21:29:06 1770801 Link 0 |
To be fair Kev did double hop the ball back on our 21 yard line behind the ref's back (so he was unable to see it). Think it was before Berno's 67th minute point if I recall? or possible Kev Nolan's equaliser.. Will have to go watch it again! AthCliath87 (Dublin) - Posts: 345 - 17/08/2015 15:30:25 1771504 Link 0 |

All very low key in Mayo. No hype or barely a word about it. Quietly confident with a healthy respect for the Dubs and they way they play the game. The only team who just go out and play and don't bother with the cynical stuff (with a few exceptions of course). tirawleybaron (Mayo) - Posts: 1511 - 17/08/2015 18:02:38 1771600 Link 0 |
Flynn vs Vaughan...... has to be Flynn all day! JayP (Dublin) - Posts: 1772 - 17/08/2015 18:36:38 1771612 Link 0 |
JayP I agree all day long , Conroy out for Mayo they can still win without him but always a nice nippy sub to bring on imo. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 17/08/2015 19:24:18 1771640 Link 0 |

You would have to feel for Conroy getting injured. All that hard work and training. always good for a point or two and lively off the bench. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11688 - 17/08/2015 20:04:21 1771677 Link 0 |
YewTree he absolutely destroyed us in the semi final in '12 we couldn't handle him at all. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 17/08/2015 20:09:24 1771681 Link 0 |
Honestly can see Dublin winning this With a few point to spare...Mayo have played Jim Gavins Dublin team 6 times over the past 3 years and lost 5 and drawn one..Also Dublin have 3/4 forwards that are deadly accurate long/short range (as do Kerry)...Mayo do not and require certain forwards to shoot the lights out...Aidan O'Shea is reliant on the delivery into him but what is their plan B?. ..Dublin by 6 KieranDuff (Dublin) - Posts: 7 - 17/08/2015 20:47:20 1771705 Link 0 |
I see the game has officially sold out. Fastest selling semi final in history? Almost 2 weeks out? Should be a great atmosphere between two sets of passionate supporters. yew_tree (Mayo) - Posts: 11688 - 18/08/2015 08:08:49 1771737 Link 0 |
The closer we get to the game, the more confident io am becoming, despite my reservations about our FF line and bench ! Liamwalkinstown (Dublin) - Posts: 8166 - 18/08/2015 08:56:27 1771775 Link 0 |
Good to see some honest and we'll justified opinions from the Dublin supporters. After all the Blue Juggernaut plays with a swagger so why wouldn't a supporter shy away from being really brash and confident is beyond my comprehension. Why bother with the bravado and bs then? TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 18/08/2015 09:37:54 1771798 Link 0 |
