So, yes, good to get a win under the belts for the new manager, good to get new blood bedded in - but please, lets wait til until the meaningful games are played before passing judgement.
Yes, Terry brought us to Division 1, took him 5 years to do so - but the ultimate goal of reaching an Ulster Final was a must, and lets face it, he failed miserably. Terry will remembered for his bringing the Black Death to Cavan, which drove hundreds of supporters away from Breffni Park.

We had 10,000 at league match v galway last year, where do you get all your false facts, it probably was the biggest crowd at a McKenna match in years , def not league.

Yes I saw it and a red card was the only decision open to the referee. I had the advantage of watching the replay several times and despite Seannie making a meal of it the Tyrone player hit him with his left fist and the only result was a straight RED no question about it. Sorry about that Tyrone supporters but it was a correct call.

I think that McCutcheon and Argue will play more part next weekend. I was impressed with how we matched up to them physically and I hope that this is the way forward. Gerry Smith looked sharp and showed his man a fresh set of heals a few times. Also liked the look of our back line although Tyrones shooting was poor. McAliskey will be a massive loss for them. Not much sign of defensive systems on show yesterday and I do think it is a thing of the past for us. I cant say I have been at a McKenna cup game in Breffni with that many people before. Good game and always nice to beat Tyrone albeit not too common an occurance. We need to keep the heads down and try to get another win against Donegal (U21's or seniors) next Sunday which will secure a semi final spot and give us a chance to try some others in the final game.

Terry (and his mgmt. team) will be remembered for bringing respectability back to Cavan football. No. we didn't reach an ulster final but were only a whisker away. ulster has been dominated by Donegal,Monaghan and Tyrone of Late . There exceptional teams. It is going to be hard to break that triumvirate.

I definitely remember that the season that both Meath and Monaghan got promoted to Div 2 , we beat both of them.

I'm glad to know it actually was a red card as the last thing you want going into the league is for Tyrone to have something over Cavan!!! Its annoying now how adamant the Tyrone people were when i asked did they see it.
on a different note, those who want to talk football or have the best interests of the team/ county continue to discuss amongst each other and ignore the negative, slanderous, provocative messages from the other crowd.....
