Clare v Carlow

(Oldest Posts First)

I reckon this is a make or break game for the season. Lose and Clare face another year in Division 4 and probably a stampede for new management when the league & championship finish. Win & there's a reasonable chance that the team can make it to the knockout stages & gain promotion. Hopefully the lads will do the latter & give themselves & Clare football a badly needed boost. Best of luck to McDermott & his charges.

Anyone following them up to Carlow? Might give us a 'from the terrace' report on how events unfold!

First of all you are very welcome to Carlow, safe journey up and back home, in theory all you lads have to do is make an apperance on the pitch, collect your points, say thanks very much, and go home, in practice our lads are more than capable of giving you lads a game, at the end of which they will have earned two much needed points, they're like gold dust here. (The points that is.) It depends on whitch Carlow team turns up, I'm sorry but even I as a Carlow man can't help you there, now if it was our hurlers we were talking about I might be able to help you there, but thats for another day, and a different thread.

Heartbreak & disaster for Clare again I'm afraid. Another season in Div 4 beckons.

Anybody at the game?
