thats my point what is creditable evidence?
in that case there was no video footage no offical eye witness so it boiled down to one players word
i think the whole suarez thing was around then at that time weirdly enough and the gaa wanted to be seen to be acting
on it so dished out a punishment.

My point is that it would never have boiled down to just the testimony of one player. In that case Eamon O Gara would have been suspended on the word of Mickey Burke. There was more than just an accusation. Otherwise the suspension would not and could not have been recommended. You and I are not privy to the case so we can merely speculate.
