Congrats to Cork on a well deserved win! I expect a Cork v Kilkenny final also now, if Cork can overcome Tipp in the semi.

The semi's will likely be Kilkenny v Limerick/Wexford and the other Cork v Dublin or Tipp. Both mouth watering I just hope Kilkenny don't make the final.

Congrats to Cork. We left the game behind early. Still think there is very little between 5/6 teams.'we tired badly and were too slow to make changes.

Just back, fine game, Cork struggled for long periods but Limerick are actually a really good side. Their forwards are very hard to mark because of their movement, but Limerick's shooting let them down. Cork poor at times in that regard as well. Daniel Kearney is like the Roy Keane of hurling, endless energy and great vision.
Fitting finale to P. Ui C. Hard to get to but a fabulous atmosphere in such a cauldron.

Nerve-shattering stuff. Never felt safe until the last five minutes. A relief, as much as anything else, to have won a Munster again. Took four matches to win that cup. Hard to know if relief or joy is the predominant feeling.

Won't happen for me Eddie, conceded 24 points and Limerick easily could have had a few goals, fine team but i think Tipp will beat Dublin and they will beat Cork also.

The first half of yesterdays game was very flat I thought - mostly down to the amount of wides in the game. Limerick need to be more clinical. When you are on top, you need to make it show on the scoreboard.

The second half improved a little in terms of intensity. However the standard overall was not great. Kilkenny will finish either of these sides in ten minutes on current form. That said, I thought we were much better against Clare and Waterford.

We were lucky to beat Kilkenny last year. A Brian Cody inspired Kilkenny team has never lost two championship matches in a row to any team and they will be gunning for us no doubt- aiming to set the record straight. If Tipp don't get us - they probably will - Kilkenny are going to give us the mother and father of all hidings in September.

Blackrock Eddie, there was not a lot between the teams, Cork were flattered enough with a 6 point win. I wouldnt say Limerick were punching above their weight anyway for sure. The major differences for Cork this year from what I can see are the new players have made a difference (Ellis & Walsh in particular), they are an allround stronger panel though I wonder how the defence would fare against Kilkenny. The other major difference is confidence & yesterday's win will improve that aspect even further. I think Cork are a very goodteam but I dont think they will be the AI champions this year.

I think cork were good value for their win yesterday and also agree that the game was flat. Cork (as you wold expect)were very nervous in the first half. But then when they settled they pushed on with a 10 point swing from mid way in the first half. Hopefully this team will grow now that they finally tasted silver wear . Im not convinced that tipp would beat cork lets be fair about it tipp havent really beaten anything since they lost to Limerick. But i do think it would be a cracking game. There is a case for every team left in the championship and i think any of four of them could win Liam. Kilkenny are obvious favourites but i think they are definitely beatable

So roll on the summer one way or the other we will have new all ireland champions

Think most ppl would agree that Cork forwards edged it on the day and that 6pts flattered Cork. For me whether Cork beat tipp is down to whther they have a man to mark callinan. After yesterday Im not sure

Cork were the better team and I felt could of won by more, Limerick are on a learning curve and every game they play in is bringing them on, there main problem is lack of big games and the time between each game. Df Cork won't have to worry about Tipp as they won't be in a semi this is a serious Dublin team that will push Tipp around and get in there face just like KK and Limerick do.

Limerick really had Cork in trouble for the first twenty minutes.Similioar to Corks first half v Waterford in the drawn game,Cork didnt seem at the races at all.A Limerick goal at this stage,or more accuracy from their several missed point opportunities, would have asked serious questions of Cork.Questions im not sure they would have had the answers to.However after Nashs first half score it seemed to give the team and crowd the lift they needed.Six unanswered points put Cork in a commanding position, especially after weathering the early storm, and having the winds at their backs for the second half.
Once again on the resumption it took Cork a while to settle and find a rhythm.Limerick stuck at it and if Dowling had of scored a goal, when the chance presented itself,we could have been in for a titanic last twenty minutes.Cork began to gather momentum and Harnedy came into his own. After his goal(steps?)the result was not in doubt.Cork really looked slick and confident and Paudie O Sullivans fantastic goal put the icing on the cake.Limerick fought manfully to the end.
Going forward i think Cork will have to improve, which im sure they will,to win the All Ireland. With a bit of luck Limerick might have had two goals yesterday.Tipp might not be so wasteful.Kilkenny definately wouldnt.Corks forwards are a joy to watch.Lehane,Cooper,Harnedy,Horgan and Cadogan all had good games.Cronin hasnt played well in a while.Paudie O Sullivan will be eyeing his position.Limerick didnt look overly disappointed yesterday.I think theres a couple of big games in them.Theres goals in this team.I would expect theyll score a couple the next day.If they make the semi final, which i think they will,i feel they will really give Kilkenny(if its KK) a game. Its all to play for,in whats shaping up to better last years championship.
