All tickets sold out early this morning. Long queues outside Centra and SuperValu all over Cork. Many (including myself) disappointed. Midleton (Cork) - Posts: 643 - 10/07/2014 11:41:34 1616728 Link 0 |
I got onto pay page twice only to be kicked out both times. Went to a supervalu and their systems crashed srb (Antrim) - Posts: 344 - 10/07/2014 11:57:15 1616737 Link 0 |
I heard long quees and only a handful of tickets to be sold at Centra and Supervalu. woops (Kerry) - Posts: 2073 - 10/07/2014 12:02:46 1616739 Link 0 |
The tickets which were on sale were all terrace tickets. It had nothing to do with increased safety measures. I presume those tickets were all tickets returned from other counties. This happens every year. Midleton (Cork) - Posts: 643 - 10/07/2014 12:05:11 1616740 Link 0 |

Are more tickets available, or is it just the website down? Southsham (Limerick) - Posts: 738 - 10/07/2014 12:55:53 1616773 Link 0 |
Website down. Was affecting the supervalu sales too as one near me couldnt get on to system. That was worst I have ever encountered trying to get tickets for anything in my life. Keep trying as still there srb (Antrim) - Posts: 344 - 10/07/2014 13:03:49 1616780 Link 0 |
Massive queue at SuperValu, Merchants Quay, Cork at 11 this morning. Not sure how people got on. jerryp (Cork) - Posts: 104 - 10/07/2014 15:31:16 1616890 Link 0 |
Absolute joke. Not have some people been let down once ( by their local clubs not getting enough tickets ) but probably twice now standing in a long queue and not getting a ticket. WildPundit (Tipperary) - Posts: 1709 - 10/07/2014 16:54:12 1616944 Link 0 |
Sarsfields in Cork (probably the biggest hurling club at the moment) got something like 25 tickets apparently, an absolute mess. RebelCork (Cork) - Posts: 789 - 10/07/2014 17:38:00 1616971 Link 0 |
One if the bigger clubs in limerick got 80 but had orders for close on 450 ... Could be busy day in the pubs Sunday as so many have given up on trying to get a ticket especially in the city where lots wouldn't be involved in clubs but go to limericks bigger hurling games hurler32 (Limerick) - Posts: 867 - 10/07/2014 19:05:07 1617021 Link 0 |
Ellis and Cadogan have both been deemed fit enough to be starting which is a massive plus. No changes anywhere in the team from the Clare game. RebelCork (Cork) - Posts: 789 - 10/07/2014 21:43:57 1617118 Link 0 |

they were selling tickets in the gaelic grounds about an hour ago hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 11/07/2014 13:37:45 1617336 Link 0 |
The ticket situation is a farce there are plenty of tickets available apparently now and the reason i think for this is that so many people that would normally go to these matches are not going because of the apparent problems earlier in the week in getting tickets. It will still sell out but an awful lot of people were put under undue pressure earlier in the week[inc me] someday (Limerick) - Posts: 1104 - 11/07/2014 14:38:19 1617366 Link 0 |
