Munster Hurling Final

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Tough game to call for me.

I still think even in our own county we don't know exactly where we are. We hurled well in patches vs Tipperary but we never seemed to get going bar a little run in the middle of the second half. I think that game will have brought Deccie Hannon and Seamie Hickey on a ton.

Cork looked excellent against Waterford in the second game and against Clare the last day. Personally i don't think they will get the space they were afforded those days. If they are as loose as they were vs Waterford first day we will have a field day. Cork also look very suspect under the high ball so i can see us going with a direct line early doors to test them with the likes of Dowlers and Downes.

Weather conditions are to be poor for the weekend and it will be a war of attrition for who wants it most. I don't think either county will be found lacking.

Heart says Limerick by three but in truth i don't know.

It should not bother you seeing half the forum is taken up with what Dublin are up to or which team was best in the noughties dross.

Ah come on now dubliner no need to be narky..let the man have his say. I know its hard for ye to have someone else other than yerselves make a point. So what if there is another one..I know there is one on the limerick page and even if there was another one on the main hoganstand page so what? Its a way to get a national perspective on the final..

In fairness of the 7975 posts you have made most of them have been snide comments.

Mark Ellis is out of the game. Cahalane left Pairc Ui Chaoimh in crutches and Walsh also has some problem apparently. We've enough cover for the first two but hopefully Walsh is ok.

how many do you need
nobody has a problem with one on limerick page and one on main page
but is there a need for two exacts same threads on the main page?
especially when hoover already posted on the other thread, why do you need national perspective twice
if anything that means you will have to flip between threads constantly for that
again whats the big problem with me being from dublin and having anything to do with making a valid sensible point
if the poster wasnt from the same county as yourself would you be backing the need for two threads on the one topic?
of all the places in ireland limerick is vastly becoming the most anti dublin county and i wouldnt mind im down there
a lot and once they hear your a dub their attitude changes to you

Ah now come here your one funny fella. Worked in BOI in Dublin for a long time and you will not meet finer than a working class Dub. I would take that little chip off your shoulder fella, it does not suit. Most people i know like the Dubs so maybe it is the circles you mingle or maybe it is just your general attitude that does not make you such an affable chap.

Big blows that Rebel. Ellis really did hold the centre well for Cork. Cahalane and Walsh would be absolutely huge losses. in truth for the game i hope both are fit.

Maybe if you had a better attitude you would not meet that type of angst.

There is a post about this already and i have predicted a Cork win.The rebels just cant fail to win 4 finals in a year.Limerick are a fine team and it should be a great game. Both teams will have a say regardless of Sundays result.Cork to pull away in last 10 minutes and win by 5+.

oh yes im the one with a chip on my shoulder and make snide comments haha
why becuase i make perfect sense!!!!
and it doesnt suit the two of ye guys?
come on theres an exact same thread already running and it only got two posts
so it appears to be that hoover wasnt happy nobody was talking about it on that one
he decided to start a new one
ye have the cheek to call me snide when the two of ye immdeaitly looked at my county origin
and both used it to snidely respond to my post instead of giving a real reason why two identical threads was needed.
so im just imagining that ye havent got a problem with dublin then is it
that kind of behaviour hardly backs up that opinion.
i have no problem with limerick at all and like i said know plenty of decent people there but there is two or three
in each circle of people i come across form an opinion on you just by hearing your accent or if they are informed
before talking to you that you are from dublin.

how can a person possibly know my attitude when they have never interacted with me?
if you meet somebody for the first time and form an opinion on them because where they are from well
that says more about them than me whould you not honestly think

Kiddo, leave it go you will give yourself high blood pressure and all this built up tension is not good.

Now do yourself a favour and let this slide off the page and we will bring back the other one just to make you happy. Okay. We would hate to upset you seeing you regulate these forums.

ah yes the typical response when all else fails lets pretend your letting things lie haha
you were the one having a go and i called you up on it
i have no problem at all discussing the munster hurling final
but dont b.s. me and act the maggot with blood pressure malarky
you know full well i was making a valid point and i pulled you up on it and the comments regarding what county i was from
so be man enough to admit you made a mistake

I am not letting anything on this thread go i am just fearful as you seem to be getting very agitated.

The fact you needed to bring in your accent as a defense mechanism was the sign that you had lost all self control.

i believe you will be better if you take a deep breath and not worry about what people think of you so much.
