I see that Daniel Flynn attempted to appeal his red card but it was turned down by the CHC upon the recommended sanction from the CCCC. His next step, should he decide to pursue would be the CAC and failing that the DRA.
Although this game is of no consequence to Kildae now, I'm wondering what people make of this appeal. If there was something for Kildare to play for other than pride then I'm sure that they would be doing all they can to get him off on appeal.
However, regardless of mitigating circumstances surrounding his reaction which caused him to "attempt to strike with the hand" isn't it a fairly straight forward case that he should look to accept his suspension? I know everyone has grounds for appeal, its each players right to do so, but I'd be surprised if this goes any further.

Surely Kildare can't let themselves down and just take a beating from Kerry. They made such a big thing out of new bridge or no where should they just roll over it will be a really poor year for them.

I wouldn't bank on us beating Kildare even without Flynn, our form line has taken a serious dip.

He was right to appeal when you see what Donaghy got away with in the very next game. If nothing else it highlights the inconsistency in refereeing.

You must have no faith in your own county at all to be posting the stuff you are posting. If Monaghan go and do their own job in Galway it won't matter a jot what Kildare do in Killarney. You lads had Kerry by the throat and let them off the hook. If Monaghan don't make the semi finals THAT'S the game that where it was lost, not this weekend. Have a little more faith in your own county, don't be worrying about Kildare. You are starting to sound scared.

It really does matter. If Kerry are beat it will be classed as a very poor year for Kerry and how hard will it be for a new management team to build them back up for next year. That is if the management are changed.

Poor form from the home crowd spilling out a good 10 minutes before the end while their team puts on a 2nd half scoring display. That's a bit sour towards a young squad

Two best teams went through. Kerry are extremely adverage and worst they have been in donkeys years although the future looks good. Clifford is a diamond. Ref had a bad day and killed kildare. The sending off was laughable one the worst i have ever seen and completely changed the game.

It's half a summer since we said 'Bye Bye' to Cork. Even my own county were in the championship longer. For the size of the county and number of clubs that's pretty abysmal.

My god do Kildare know how to kill themselves they had a very poor Kerry team coming up to half time and Flynn and hyland decide to have a Brain fart although young and Clifford exaggerated it big time young went down holding his head which Flynn didn't make contact with and the pull on Clifford jersey didn't warrant his reaction. The 2 maynooth lads really handicapped there team today what was donnellan thinking off. Very poor year for the aristocrats.
