What happened Syydan and castletown at the weekend. They have a strong minor outfit as Killary. Are lads injured ??????

Syddan had a couple of lads injured (Rowe of course) but Jack Reid played till half time when the score was 2-16 to 0-03 and to be honest it's hard to say if they would have gotten within 10 with a full compliment. Traynor played as well, so they weren't that short. Wasn't at the castletown game (obviously) so can't say any more.

What happened Dunshaughlin at the weekend, did they have all their players? Nobber must be stong enough at that age after beating them and St. Colmcille's.

Jack Reid was in hospital all week and really shouldn't have been playing ! He was barely fit to walk never mind run. He only played to get Syddan up to 13 players.

Fair play to Nobber gave Trim a right fright yesterday and to Michaels who only came up a point short with a young team.,
Moynalvey really put it up to Ratoath, Ratoath should have clear run now but Dunboyne v Ratoath will now be the Final cant see OMahonys doing it
My Picks are going well

FC Ratoath
A Trim
B Clan na Gael
C Moynalty.... but I getting a bit jittery as Ballinlough still there

Incredible final, no team deserved to lose. Heart went out to the Tones. Well done to Trim who showed great resolve to keep coming back after the concession of goals.

Probably the most exciting game I've ever watched in Pairc Tailteann. Trim looling good for the future and are playing with pride , passion and desire which was long missing in the town side. No team deserved to lose. Wolfe tones have some great players in the Likes of Fiachra ward and Thomas o Reilly

The goals from ward were worth the admission fee, superb game of football played in a great spirit, 2 excellent sides and it was hard on who ever was going to lose it

Ask Trim, Michael's or Kells defenders

Certainly looks a talent. He had a huge part to play in the Tones winning the B championship, played Vs O'Mahoneys, and his record in the 21s is formidable for a 17 year old.

8 points vs Kells (3f)
7 points vs Michaels (4f)
8 points vs Trim (?f)

Big year ahead for the lad now, lets see if he can make an impact on the minors and if he'll be playing Senior football consistently.

The Trim team which won yesterday was also the minor team which won in 2011, any capable of making the step up to senior football?

Trim had a very young IFC team last year. I would say most of them have already made step up.
