Not sure how anybody could be confident in picking a winner of the intermediate championshp at this stage. It will be 3 and a half months (hopefully) before the next round of games. Depending on how teams use that period you could have teams that are in form now gone totally stale and vice versa. Teams will lose lads for the summer, lads will get fed up training for nothing and there'll be other issues. GoalsWinGames (Meath) - Posts: 303 - 22/05/2014 10:05:51 1591728 Link 0 |
Can anyone shed any light on the syddan drums game,I would of had this down to be a close game after seeing drums play some nice football against ballinlough, was really surprised to see that score line last night. bullet11 (Meath) - Posts: 52 - 24/05/2014 15:05:38 1592765 Link 0 |
I'd agree with you there bullet, would have thought they'd be in with a good chance of qualifying from the group but hard to see it now especially if they keep up that sort of form. Hank_Scorpio (Meath) - Posts: 60 - 24/05/2014 15:36:05 1592780 Link 0 |
Simply Syddan beat the bejaney out of them and played the 2nd half with 14 players bara goal came in injury time at the end..... glenny (Meath) - Posts: 1108 - 25/05/2014 09:23:39 1592919 Link 0 |
Carnaross are looking like real dark horses for the championship now Lebowski (Meath) - Posts: 363 - 25/05/2014 10:52:30 1592941 Link 0 |
How does one win over an average Clann na ngael after being hockeyed by Ballivor, losing to ashbourne b's and with Ratoath still to come make Carnaross dark horses for intermediate? They'll do well to avoid relegation in my eyes... nmsmithy96 (Meath) - Posts: 108 - 25/05/2014 11:26:43 1592949 Link 0 |

Wondering what the logic is behind the new Intermediate cup, I always thought the Feis cup, while still a 3rd rate competition, was a good way for intermediate teams to have a crack at senior teams and maybe take a scalp or 2. Is it to streamline fixtures? To give teams a chance of winning any sort of silverware? CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1646 - 28/05/2014 16:05:20 1594768 Link 0 |
