Oh yes Sunday is on the way and yes I will predict whoever beats Castletown in the knockouts (if any one does will win it out)

O dearly loved majestic Meath,
the valiant and the True
On many a field you've won proud spurs
since Clontarf and Brian Boru
Today, fresh boys of conquest
are added to your crown
by the gallant, sturdy, generous boys
The boys of Castletown

There are stalwart youth within our isle
who have records, without stain
while noble scions of this land
hold sway far o'er the main
Yet none surpass in manly feats
and they never wear a frown
The sterling youths, the dashing youths,
The boys of Castletown

Now that will put the S..ts up ye,The Daddies on the move

Syddan will be kicking themselves after losing that. Bracks will be favourites in the semi final.

That's some win for the bracks. Can anyone put up the players that played?

Not sure of the full Bracks team but Judge was centre back, Carroll and O'Connor midfield, Danny Quinn full forward. Fully deserved the win. Ballivor gave up with 20 mins to go, once Doran was sent off it was like a training match. They possibly had one eye on the Senior hurling semi

Ballinabrackey won handy. Good team, scored some great pts. Ballivor not at the races. Kildalkey hurlers stood out even tho they haven't trained much with footballers. The bracks will fancy their chances, think Bracks v Dunderry final.

Redman I would disagree with you the kildalkey players lacked football play they held up the ball too long letting the bracks get back to defend the were way off the mark think they had their minds on winning something else pity fir ballivor they will never get 100% from all their players if they let it in quicker to Gannon and that Keegan lad at full forward they Might of got a goal or 2

Dunderry missed great chance to get to semi final they kicked 15 wides. Having said that balinlough will be very hard to beat

SO, that was an interesting weekend!

SEMI FINALS: Castletown vs Ballinlough, Ratoath vs Ballinabrackey

Venues or dates arranged yet? I heard they have to played next weekend? I assume both in Pairc Tailteann.

Very exciting weekend indeed. Enjoyed the Ratoath Syddan and Cilles Castletown matches immensely. Only criticism I would have is that €10 for a single match is steep. Sticking with Ratoath to win the Intermediate as with that come back on Saturday their name might just well be on the cup. I was impressed with their fitness and never say die attitude
